Luckily no one saw us and Crowley was shoved into the back of the impala. Cas healed me then we all climbed in and left -minus Sabrina and the angel, who teleported them back to the motel- no need to stay at the schools now that we had everyone back. The drive back was quiet except for Crowley's occasional complaint or snarky remark about Dean's music. When we pulled up to the motel I yanked the king of Hell out of the car and dragged him to mine and Dean's shared room. "Hey princess easy with the man handling!" Crowley exclaimed when we got in the room, "I will do whatever I damn well please. In case you haven't noticed you're a bit tied up right now and there's no smoking your way out of this one." I finished, anger clear on my features, "oh wait. You have something on your cheek," I dampened my fingers with holy water and pressed them against his face quickly, earning a pained hiss. I had him sit on the chair by the door, Dean and I tied him to it, then stepped into Sabrina and Cas's room to discuss our plans.
When we entered their room Sabrina left to go to mine and Dean's to keep an eye on Crowley while the boys and I talked. "Okay so we obviously weren't going to give Kevin up to him but what do we do with him now?" Sam asked, I bit my lip, a nervous habit. "Well we need to figure out how much of the tablets he's make Kev translate, what tablet he's translated, and what he knows." Dean stated, "so when are we gonna start driving back?" I asked, causing Dean to sigh. "Ugh tomorrow, lets go eat, I'm starved." I rolled my eyes and went back into our room, Dean talking to Cas and asking if he was okay with watching Dani and Crowley while we went out. They both returned to the room, Cas carrying Dani and lying her on one of the beds. Sabrina offered to stay as well, we promised to bring back food for her and Dani and left to a small restaurant near my old neighborhood, no burgers but great pie.
After we ate our sandwiches and were waiting for our desserts Sam was fidgeting a bit and finally said "I'm going to head back and make sure everything is okay, you guys can stay here." He got up and handed Dean a few bills before leaving. Dean shifted his chair a little closer to mine and laid his larger hand over my small one, which I flipped over to intertwine our fingers. "What are we going to do with Crowley tonight? And what about Kevin, we gotta get him somewhere safe-" I started but Dean cut me of. "C'mon Sian, we can worry about that later. Let's just relax for a while, alright?" He smiled slightly at me, which I returned with a nod of my head.
The waitress came over with our pie and smiled at Dean, who was too busy digging into the dessert to notice, and shot me a bitchface which I shot right back at her. He's hot but goddamn, he's here with me, he's not going to leave with her. I turned and kissed him, pulling away after I heard her footsteps angrily recede. He smirked at me, "couldn't go any longer without kissing your awesome boyfriend?" "Obviously," I stated with a playful roll of my eyes and a bite of his pie, earning a childish pout. "You have your own," we slipped into easy conversation and soon we were leaving hand in hand, with Sabrina and Dani's food in boxes. We got to where we parked and Dean swore under his breath and called Sam, who confirmed he did take Dean's keys and the car and for him not to get his panties in a bunch he was on his way.
Dean asked me if there were any good bars around when Sam pulled up in the impala. He stepped out and started walking to the passenger seat but I pushed past him and sat down first, gesturing towards the back seat with a small smile on my face. He sighed dramatically but clambered into the seat without saying a word as Dean turned up the volume and drove back to the motel.
-----------------At the motel after everyone else left--------------------
"C'mon Cassy, we worked together once, doesn't that matter to you? Just let me go," Crowley tried. Cas shot him a cold look, "my loyalty is to the Winchesters, not to you." Sabrina got off the bed and grabbed a roll of duct tape out of her duffel bag, putting it down firmly on the table next to the demon king. "Now," she started, "you can either be quiet the easy way or the hard way." He glared at her, "is that supposed to scare me darling? Don't want me to ruin the mood between you and angel boy?" She ripped a strip of tape off the roll and put it across his mouth, earning a few seconds of his very muffled voice before he was silent. She also swiveled his chair so he was facing the wall.
Sabrina collapsed on the bed, "so now that I pretty much took care of our babysitting situation what do you want to do?" Cas sat on the edge of the bed awkwardly, "um I don't know." She positioned herself so she was propped up on her elbows, facing the angel. He was so beautiful but looked so sad and worried all the time. "What's it like being an angel Castiel?" He sighed, "it is very different than one might think. It is not happy and peaceful all the time. We are soldiers and we have problems," his voice got quieter at the end. "I just wish my siblings would stop fighting so much. I wish they would see how much trouble it causes, how much death." She moved over and patted the space next to her, Cas slowly situated himself next to her. They talked for a while, about their lives and about the job. At some point Cas's hand found Sabrina's and they looked at each other and smiled.
