I woke up in Dean's room, he hadn't woken up yet and he looked so peaceful. I carefully slid out of bed and went to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee. I put the water in the machine and turned around to see Cas in the doorway, "morning Cas." I smiled, "good morning Sianna. Can you show me some more music?" "Yeah sure, let me go get my phone, watch the coffee." I went into my room, grabbed my phone, and came back into the kitchen to see Cas having a staring contest with the coffee machine. "Oh my- Cas, you don't have to stare it, I just meant- never mind." I laughed softly, "okay pick a band." I handed him my phone and he scrolled down the band names, he tapped the screen a few times and Panic! at the Disco's The Ballad of Mona Lisa started playing. Once it was over he tapped it a couple more times before All Time Low started playing again. "Like them?" I asked, he looked up and smiled, "yes, I like them a lot." "They're on tour right now, if we had tickets we could go see them." He tilted his head, "I could fly us there. When is it?" "Um," I grabbed my phone back and opened the website, "there's one tonight. At this place called Toad's Place in New Haven, Connecticut." He glanced towards the doorway and turned back to me, leaning closer "we can sneak out tonight. I don't have enough power to bring everyone but just you should be fine," he whispered like it was a huge secret. I laughed and whispered back, "okay sounds like a plan." He smiled widely and I poured myself a cup of coffee, "want any?" He shook his head, "I do not need to drink." I rolled my eyes, "but do you want to? It's not that bad," he tilted his head before saying yes. We talked for a little while until everyone else started waking up.
Dean woke up first, kissing my cheek and stealing a drink of my coffee as he walked into the kitchen. "How long have you been up? Is that coffee Cas?" "Yes, I have been doing 'normal' things, it is very different." I smiled, "working on your people skills, right?" I asked him, he nodded and sipped his drink. Dean poured himself a cup and walked up to me. I stood up, let him sit, then sat down on his lap "what're we gonna do today?" I asked, "we should make pie." Dean answered almost immediately, I smiled at him "okay we need to find a recipe and get ingredients then." I hopped off his lap, "I'll look for recipes," I stated. I went into my room and sat on my bed with my laptop and a notebook, I found a crust recipe then called Dean into the room. "Yeah?" He asked as he walked in, "what kind of pie should we make?" He thought for a moment, "apple, what ingredients do we need?" "Uh, butter, flour, water, and salt for the crust and apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, flour, and salt for the filling." I ripped the page out of the notebook and walked over to my dresser, "I'll get dressed then we can go."
I threw on light blue jeans, a gray tank top, and light brown combat boots before grabbing the list and getting into the car with Dean. He was in a blue flannel with a black undershirt and blue jeans, "let's go." He said once I was buckled in, we got everything we needed and, once I told Dean they were absolutely necessary, some Nutella and strawberries. We walked in carrying the bags and Sam called out asking what we got. Dean smiled at him and held up one of the bags, "stuff for pie, Sian and I are gonna make some." "Well what are we supposed to do all day?" He asked as Dani, Cas, and Sabrina walked over to us. "I don't know, do something fun to pass the time," I chimed in. "Like what? There's not much to do in Kansas," Sam remarked sarcastically. "Cas could fly us somewhere," Sabrina suggested. "My powers are not very strong at the moment, especially after the healing I had to administer to Daniela," he countered. "Why don't you guys like, go roller skating or ice skating or something? Those are cute date places," I offered. "We- we're not dating," Dani stuttered, Dean scoffed. "Yeah you and Sam are and Cas and Sabrina totally are, you guys should go, get out for a while." "I think there's an ice rink not too far from here, you can take my car. Just don't mess up my CDs," I smiled. They went into their respective rooms to find warm clothes while Dean and I got the ingredients set up.
I put my hair in a bun and we washed our hands before I pulled up the recipes again, "okay so for the crust we need to mix 1 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt in a bowl and slowly add 1/2 a cup of chilled, diced butter. Then we need to add 1/4 cup of ice water one tablespoon at a time before putting it in the fridge for at least 4 hours." I read from the website, "seems easy enough." Dean shrugged while measuring the flour, I was dumping the salt into the mixing bowl when a white cloud surrounded the side of my face. I whipped around to see Dean laughing and wiping the remaining flour off his hands, "oh it's on Winchester." I grinned as I got a handful of it and threw it on his shirt, he looked down and pouted before taking his shirt off. "This isn't going to distract you is it?" He teased as he leaned closer, I leaned in until our lips were almost touching before saying "nope!" and moving back to the mixture, a smirk on my face. He moved so his chest was pressed against my back and wrapped his arms around my waist, "you sure?" I turned my head and kissed him quickly before starting to add the rest of the ingredients, "I will stop making this pie if you don't help." I threatened, he placed a soft kiss on my neck before stepping aside and helping finish the crust.
