After driving back to the motel we all piled in our separate rooms, Crowley going into Sabrina and Cas's room as Cas doesn't sleep and could watch him. Before Dean got out of the car I stopped him, "can we go see my parents?" I asked, "the house is just a few blocks away." He nodded and put the impala in reverse, me directing him where to go.
We pulled up at my old house and I saw a blue ford bronco. I smiled, "he was talking about getting one of those." Dean parked and I hopped out, and waited for him to climb out. He looked slightly nervous so I grabbed his hand and walked up to the door. I knocked and my mom answered after a few seconds, "Sianna! How are you sweetie?" She hugged me and turned to Dean, who was grinning widely. "Hello Mrs. Sanchez," he said politely. "Oh you can just call me Natalie, and you are?" "I'm Dean, Sian's boyfriend." "Nice to meet you, come on in," she stepped aside and went into the backyard. A small, stocky blue pit bull ran inside and started rubbing on me, I looked up at Dean, "this is my dog. I've never seen her before but she's mine I know it, look how cute she is!" I snuck a quick look at her tag 'Stella' it read. Dean shifted away slightly, "she won't bite, relax." She walked over to him and he put his hand out to her, which she sniffed and licked before sitting near my feet. "Sian!" My dad boomed as he walked inside and pulled me into a hug, as he let go Dean shuffled closer to me and put an arm around my waist. "Dad, this is Dean, my boyfriend, Dean this is my dad, Hemo." We sat on the couches and slipped into easy conversation. After a while my mom got up, "oh, you're getting your car aren't you?" She asked, "let me find the keys." she disappeared into the kitchen while I turned to Dean, "what am I going to do I can't drive very well!" I hissed and he chuckled, i gave him a this-isn't-funny look and he coughed while still sporting a smirk. My mom returned with a set of keys for me and a set for my dad, so he could move his car. I brought Dean into the garage with me and lifted the tarp off of a sleek gray Camaro SS. "Oh god I'm going to mess up this beautiful car, shit," I muttered under my breath as I unlocked the door. "Can you pull up the garage door Dean?" He nodded and complied before standing out of the way, I took a deep breath before slowly pulling out and onto the quiet street. I waved goodbye to my parents as I followed the black impala to the motel.
We made it, by some miracle, there without accident and before I got out I looked through the car to see what was in it. I found a ton of CDs from my favorite bands and pumped my fist in the air, there was also a few fives in the glove compartment and a small make up bag behind my seat. I smiled at all the contents and snagged the bag before climbing out and meeting up with Dean outside the room. "You're not so bad at driving, I thought you'd be a helluva lot worse," he commented, earning a smack on the arm. "Now we can be more comfortable on the drive back," I added. Dean's expression fell slightly, "are you driving all the way there? Someone else can drive your car, you can ride with me," I smiled up at him. "Yeah that's a good idea, but I'm bringing some of my CDs." I stated before unlocking the door and walking in. I showered quickly before lying down and letting Dean shower, we slid into bed together and I rested my head on his chest, I leaned up and lightly kissed his jawline, "night Dean." He kissed my head, "goodnight Sian." Within minutes I was peacefully asleep.
I awoke to the smell of bacon and coffee, I stretched and yawned before getting out of bed. Dean was packing the bags that were laid out on the other bed so I walked over to him, grabbed some clothes, and kissed his cheek on my way to the bathroom. "Good morning," I chirped, earning a complaining "you get enough rest sleeping beauty? It's almost 10:30," in response. "Real charmer, Dean Winchester," I quipped before starting my morning routine.
Within half an hour I was ready and we were piling into the two cars; Dean, Sam, Dani, and me in Dean's car and Sabrina, Cas, and Crowley in mine. The drive was pretty uneventful, with only a few stops for food and a motel at night. When we were almost back at the bunker I ejected Dean's tape, "hey! Driver picks the music!" He exclaimed, "yeah and shotgun shuts his cake hole. I'm a girl so," I put My Chemical Romance's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge CD in the player, "just one CD, please?" I batted my eyes. He sighed but made no further complaint, "really?!" Sam protested, "you throw my iPod out the window and let her play her music?" "Shut up," I turned and ruffled his hair, "I'm his girlfriend and I'm prettier." I teased, "I swear to god small fry when we get out of this car-" "what? You gonna step on me, not-so-friendly giant?" He shot me a classic bitchface and Dani started talking to him, meanwhile my CD loaded and Helena started up. I started singing along, after all this is my favorite album by them, I'm not sure what they expected. By the fifth song, I'm Not Okay, Dean was tapping along on the steering wheel. Once the album finished Dean put his own music back on after commenting that my CD was pretty alright, all things considered.
Once the sun was high in the sky we stopped for lunch at a little diner. The six of us walked inside and were seated at a large corner booth, we ordered our drinks before Sam spoke up. "So um Dani, what are you and Sabrina going to do now? Where are you gonna go?" Cas tilted his head slightly and looked at Dean, "can they stay? They seem to be good hunters and nice company." Sabrina smiled at him before she and Daniela shared a look, "well if it's okay with you guys we could stay at the bunker. There are plenty of rooms," she said hesitantly. I glanced at Dean who scanned the table, "yeah it's no problem. You guys can get your stuff from the motel and drive over there," he agreed.
After finishing our food Sabrina, Dani, Sam and Dean took the impala to the motel while I drove back to the bunker. Dean reassured me I would be fine on the short drive. I put in an All Time Low CD and Cas turned to me, "who sings this?" "Oh, a band called All Time Low. The lead singer is Alex Gaskarth," I answered and he nodded. "The song is very catchy," he commented and I smiled. "When we get back I'll show you more music, okay?" Cas nodded again and within 15 minutes we were pulling up to the side of the bunker. Before I stopped the car the CD skipped a bit and I furrowed my brow, it was a brand new CD, surely it couldn't be scratched already. I shook my head and turned off the car.
The others weren't back yet so Cas and I went into my room and I opened the music app on my phone. "Okay let's listen to..." I scrolled through my songs, "oh! This one, it's slower sort of," I tapped play and Never Shout Never's Trouble filled the air. When it was over Cas smiled, "I liked that one put on another by them." I smiled back at him and handed him my phone, with the list of their songs on the screen. "Just tap the title of any one you think sounds good," he nodded and looked very focused on the song titles. He stretched his finger towards the screen, paused, then tapped it, the music changed to California.
After another half hour of listening to various bands Cas had started liking quite a few of them, Dean walked into my room while Pierce the Veil's Props & Mayhem was playing and Cas and I were sitting across from each other cross legged on my bed with my phone in between us. "Hey Sian where's- what are you doing to him?" He looked at me like I was betraying his precious music that is older than he is, "I'm not doing anything, he wanted to listen to more music, right Cas?" Castiel looked up from the phone and up at Dean, "some of the bands are very good Dean. Why does the boy ask if the girl got hurt on her fall from heaven? Is she an angel? Sianna wouldn't answer me." He had a very serious look on his face and that brought a smile from Dean, "nah man he just said that because he thinks she is really pretty and really nice and stuff." Cas nodded but his eyebrows were still knit together. "Did you ask Sianna that? Should I ask Sabrina that?" I blushed and so did Dean, "yeah Cas she'll think it's cute go ask her." I encouraged, "okay I'll be right back," he stood and walked out of the room smiling and calling Sabrina's name.
Dean sat next to me and an arm snaked around my waist, "leading the angel away from my amazing music taste?" He asked with mock hurt, I gasped with fake shock, "oh no, you figured out my plan!" He smiled and gave me a quick kiss, "that band we listened to in the car was pretty good, I like them. Who was it again?" "My Chemical Romance, they're amazing, well they were, they broke up." Cas walked back into the room grinning, "she blushed and said that it was very sweet but she is no angel. I told her I know and I told her what you told me, then she blushed more." I smiled up at him, "then why are you talking to us still? Go talk to her more!" He left again and I couldn't help the little giggle building, "he's getting the hang of this whole humanity thing now huh?" "Yeah his 'people skills' aren't really as 'rusty' " he smiled. "Can we have another movie night?" He thought for a second, "sure. But no chick flicks this time," I pouted but obliged and went to go tell everyone while he set up the room again. I went up to Dani and Sabrina, "while they're setting up lets unpack your guys' stuff." They agreed and we walked to the corridor with the rooms. Dani took the room next to Sam's and Sabrina picked the one next to mine. "We can paint this another day," Dani said as we carried the snacks into the room.
We were finished with the three movies we had picked by 11 and we all turned in, I started walking to my room before Dean snatched my arm, pulled me into his room and his lips found mine. I smiled, "okay just let me shower and get changed then I'll come back." I kissed his cheek before grabbing a towel and heading to the bathroom. After I showered I threw on gray pajama shorts and a dark blue tank top before returning to Dean's room where he was lying partly under the covers, reading. He was shirtless and wearing a pair of black sweats, leaving a view of his tattoo and abs. I grinned and slid into bed next to him, he glanced at me and handed me a book from his bedside table, as if this was routine for us. He lifted an arm so I could rest my head on his shoulder, once settled we lapsed into a nice, comfortable silence. I read the first four chapters before we set the books down. He pulled me closer and kissed my head, "night Sian." "Goodnight Dean," I replied before his steady heartbeat lulled me to sleep.
