Madison was broke from her thoughts when she heard the sound of a door opening and closing. Shuffling across the room she made her way back to the corner, trying to look through it with her right eye. "Floyd?" she whispered, pulling back from the fissure.

"Yeah" he said, his voice rough. "Don't worry, not the first run in I've had with him and it definitely won't be the last" he added as he sat down in the corner of the room.

"I don't think he'll try anything with me unless it's in my sleep and even then he'd want to be careful" Madison informed him. Given the fact Deadshot didn't have powers per say, Griggs knew with the right number of men they could over power him. But Madison was a different case, although tapping into her abilities wasn't always easy it was still a risk, one she figured he wasn't going to take. Her strength was something she knew how to work out, so while she might not be able to access the others, she still would have the upper hand.

"Well ain't you Lucky Lucy" Floyd simpered, nodding his head lightly.

"More of a Boasting Betty, but close enough" Madison replied grinning playfully as she turned to look at Floyd, both having amused looks on their faces. "Listen I'll let you simmer down, work off some anger on that punching bag of yours. Maybe work a little more stone from this wall" she said, picking at some of the crumbled particles from the crack.

(FWB) I knew that my room had a camera, so I assumed Floyd's did too, whoever was watching the monitor either didn't know we were talking, or just didn't care. Maybe the person thought it was just a coincidence we were both sat by the connecting walls, and that we turned to look at the wall every now and then; which I know sounds ridiculous but given the type of person Griggs was it wouldn't surprise me if they had a complete moron watching the screens. Wade? Nah just kidding. (EOFWB)

Meanwhile...

Amanda Waller swiftly made her way into Cicada, two men opened the doors for her to enter and once inside the restaurant she saw the men she was there to meet. The rest of the room was void of people, except the one showing her to her table though after she took her seat he too left. She was there to do one thing and that was to get what she wanted from these men, get clearance for what she'd been forming over the past few months.

"We lose a national hero, but you sit there looking like the cat that ate the canary" Admiral Olsen commented as he looked at Amanda's face first before to Dexter as he spoke.

"I've eaten a lot of canaries" she retorted with a light shake of her head. "It's taken some work but I finally have them, the worst of the worse" she announced and after reached down to grab a binder that had 'Top Secret' written on it in red, dropping in down on the table in front of the Admiral.

"There's rumours Amanda, that some of them have abilities" he addressed while cutting into his food.

"Well the rumours are right. You know what the problem with a meta-human is?" she questioned rhetorically before answering it herself. "The human part. We got lucky with Superman, he shared our values. The next Superman might not"

Bringing up food towards his mouth Olsen spoke first he cautioned her. "You're playing with fire  Amanda"

"I'm fighting fire with fire"

"You're not gonna pitch us that, Task Force X project of yours again, are you?" he inquired

"Yes. But this time you are gonna listen" she said sternly as she leaned forward in her seat. Chewing her food she then turned the cover of the binder and began to go through the various villains and information listed about them within. "And finally, Madison Deminon a.k.a Apexa newest addition" she said, turning the page once again before shifting her gaze between the men. "She was only imprisoned today. I was contacted by a man called Mr. Smith who informed me of her existence and until today we couldn't locate her. Then a fight broke out in a scrapyard, I tipped off the Bat and she was intercepted in an alleyway" she informed them. "Another meta-human, except she's a little different, she was made"

"Made?" Dexter questioned, brows furrowed.

"By a man named Francis, killed today in the scrapyard. Her powers are certainly incredible and of major benefit to us, though she's still trying to gain control"

"So she's a loose canon?" The Admiral butted in, making Amanda cock her head to give him a look.

"If that's what you want to call her sure, but she's still useful if we get those powers working. Her main ability is she can take on any power and form of a person that she touches" Amanda smirked at the thought. "She's also has limited pyro abilities, El Diablo's are better. She can move things with her mind, hear thoughts, enhanced strength and can make you see what she wants if she's touching you" she listed, dumbing down her explanation. "She can also recover from a range of injuries. She was shot in the head and neck today, paralyzing her and she fell several floors off a ladder. Then she woke up a while later, totally unfazed" she smirked crookedly. Telling them about her emotion and nerve control wasn't something Amanda had bothered to tell them about, seeing as it wasn't something that could have any benefit to them, she didn't see the point.

"You want to put our national security in the hands of witches, gangbangers, loose canons, and crocodiles?" Olsen sassed as he looked over at Dexter, both showing unconvinced looks on their faces.

"Don't forget about the Joker's girlfriend" Dexter added.

"These are villains, Amanda. What makes you think you can control them?"

"Because getting people to act against they're own self-interest for the national security of the United States is what I do for a living"

Belle Reve...

The little window in her room was the only way Madison could tell when day turned to night, but the change of light only illuminated a portion of the room. Though she couldn't properly see out the window, she was at least glad one was there, not knowing when it was night and when it was day could really mess with someone's head. With no bed to sleep in she was left lying on the cold hard floor and it wasn't comfortable for her to say the least. Sighing loudly she sat up and stretched her shoulders before hearing them crack due to the position she'd been lying in on the ground. Looking around she saw her paper plate was still left in her room, no one having come to get it because they'd been 'having fun with Floyd'.

Reaching over she picked it up and looked at it before a little idea came to mind. Arching an eyebrow she glanced at the camera before turning so that her back was facing it as she sat cross legged. Placing down the plate she looked at it and held her hand over it. Trying to focus like she'd done last time, though nothing was happening, pondering for a moment she tried to think of what else she could do. Not wanting anger to be her only source of her abilities, she needed something else. That night she allowed her mind to wander for however many hours passed by, she tried to think of different things that might spark something.

Feeling defeated and with tiredness setting in Madison was about to give up and try to get some sleep, until something finally happened with her last thought. Her last thought hadn't been with the intend of getting her powers to work, it was just something that came to mind on it's own accord and before she knew it small flames were being emitted from her palm. Smiling to herself, she made sure her back was covering her hand before she moved it down to make contact with the paper plate. Slowly and carefully it began to burn until there was nothing but ash left, just like she'd wanted. Pushing the pile carefully into the corner wall where the door was, she then dipped her finger into the ash before dragging it along the wall. The ash stained the wall leaving one line before she dusted her hands off, smile still on her lips. "Day one down" she muttered to herself.

(FWB) Bet you wanna know what that last thought was that knocked things into gear? Well I'm afraid that's confidential... nah, not really. I'm just being an ass and not telling you, but hey at least I'm honest about why I won't. (EOFWB)
