(FWB) Seems I was eventually able to get some shut eye even on this floor that was just as tough as I assume Colossus' crotch would be. Then again after my little success last night, sleep was like my reward though I didn't get an excess of it before I was woken up to a sound outside of my sleepy daze (EOFWB)
Humming quietly Madison then shivered, when her shirt rose and her bare skin touched the cold floor beneath. "Not even a blanket" she mumbled under her breath before finally opening her eyes. Coming around properly she realised what the noise was, in the adjoining room it seem Floyd was back at the punching bag. "You ever give that thing a rest?" she called out, hesitantly pushing herself to sit up, before she brought her knees to her chest trying to regain some warmth. Momentarily moving her hand she placed her finger into the leftover ash to make another mark on the wall next to the first to symbol her second day there.
"Got nothing else to do" he replied as he continued throwing punches.
"Yeah well at least you have that thing. I have nada and I can't even see out the window to be nosey" she huffed, wrapping her arms around her knees and leaning her chin on them.
"Ain't missing much honestly"
"Hey, can I ask why they call you Deadshot?" Madison asked curiously. Still newly acquainted with the man, she wasn't exactly sure how touchy he would be and which subjects he would feel like she was prying into, she just hoped this wasn't one.
"I got the best shot with any kinda gun. I never miss" he explained as he ceased his punches to the bag so they could both talk to each other and hear each other easily.
Madison nodded lightly, though with him not being able to see her it was kind of pointless. She herself was able to fire a gun, though she was also able to miss. Having worked with Wade she was skilled in hand to hand combat, guns and even took it upon herself to obtain things like throwing knives and other types of bladed weaponry. "So why'd you get locked up here? You kept winning in the carnival game of shooting water into the clown's mouth?"
Hearing Floyd chuckle from beyond the wall left Madison smiling lightly. "Nah, just like you said made some mistakes and they caught up with me"
(FWB) I understood him not wanting to tell me, after all I'd not told him why I was here either. Not really fair to expect an answer to a question, I'm not willing to answer either. But I'm me so I had to chance my arm and ask anyway. It was easy to say we both knew the other had done bad things, that was why we were here in the first place, I guess the specifications didn't matter for now (EOFWB)
"Why they call you Apexa?" Floyd asked as he began walking back and forth in his room, trying to occupy himself another way.
The name Apexa always made her instantly think of Francis and while not a good thing, it was the name she'd given herself and would be keeping. She wasn't about to go on a new name hunt while sitting within these four walls, what was the point anyway? "This guy said I was his most prized creation, cause of what I can do, so I came up with the name Apexa" she explained. "An apex is the highest point of achievement a.k.a me in his eyes, so I added an a onto the end to make it sound more name like"
"And what is it you can do?"
"In layman's terms any mut... meta human I touch, I can take on their powers and appearance" she started, deciding to use the word meta human as Griggs had specified it was the one they used. "From that I've gotten a few powers, though not entirely by choice" she began to elaborate, going on to tell Floyd about the different abilities she possessed, not going into full detail how.
(FWB) I figured why not tell the guy? After all it wasn't as if he would be freaked out or anything, it wasn't like telling a friend on the street that might either do one of two things, get scared and call the police, or think I was crazy and have me locked up somewhere. Telling him wouldn't change anything and besides, if I wasn't talking to someone I would have probably gone out of my mind in here. Though it did remind me of when Wade and I met. It had been at Francis' mutation mecca, we were both strapped down to the beds and we just talked because similar to right now, we were trapped. I kept wondering what Wade was doing, though if I'd been at the school I would be doing the exact same thing, just in less of a hostile atmosphere. I wondered if he was okay, what he was doing, if he knew I was gone, if he was trying to find me. All these things racing through my mind and I had no way to get answers. I was physically and mentally trapped. (EOFWB)
