Chapter two

Izzy could feel the girl grow on her. Even from the tour around school Clary seemed like the nicest person she'd ever met! And now, on stage, she looked like she was shining from happiness. Izzy realised just then how broken Clary must have been when she left California!

Izzy was a huge fan of 'shooting stars' and it had always been her dream to be first with their club but there were always fights and bitches (Kaelie...) and backstabbing and such. So she was pretty sure they'd never win or even be as popular as 'shooting stars'! Anyway Iz had already knew Clary as sing-talent but she had always thought that Cody was the one who led the group. Now she wasn't sure about that anymore. It was obvious that Clary was the rope who bound everyone together. It was also obvious that the group would miss her a lot.

No matter how Izzy liked Clary, she couldn't help but feel jealous. Clary looked good, was super nice, could sing. And she had amazing friends and was popular. It wasn't that Izzy thought she was an ugly bitch who couldn't sing any note or was a loser. Not anything like that.

Clary was innocently beautiful. While Izzy only had been called sexy or hot. And Clary was popular for right reasons, while Izzy only was popular with girls for her two brothers who were in the football team and with all the boys because she was hot.

And Izzy couldn't afford being nice. Not really. Not the honest nice like Clary. Because Izzy didn't believe in love or real friendship. Look at what she did to poor Simon Lewis. But she had to.

Because she was falling for him and there wasn't any way that Isabelle would make the same mistake as her parents.

Maybe Clary would be good for her. Maybe she'll help her to learn that true friendship does exist.

Two glee clubs standing in one room... wasn't the best idea the principle had had.

"You stole our performance, are you going to steal our school now too?!" Aline snapped bitterly at the other group. The Shooting Stars group backed away a little.

"Well some people are a bit moody on the first day of school." Izzy heard Cody mutter. That comment caused Clary to giggle but she quit as soon as she realised that a lot of people were glaring at her.

The principle looked around the room uncomfortably. Everybody knew that the principle was cool for a fifty year old man when it came to events but he wasn't very good with the pupils them self. He hadn't had any children himself so it wasn't like he had any experience with raising kids. Isabelle had always wondered how a CEO from a company turned into principle from a high school. And why did he even pick him?

"So kids. I thought that it would be a hood idea to let the Shooting Stars members, uh help you guys with your performance. Anyway they'll know what to do and your new Music teacher will be here in fifteen minutes. Bye." And with that he quickly walked out of the Music room. All the Glee club members always had a free period before break to practise some songs. Apparently things were different today.

"So maybe we can start with introducing ourselves? I am Cody!"

There were some hello's but most of the group just stared at him.

Then the door flew open and Jace appeared. "Don't worry, everything will be fine now that your hero, Jace lightwood, is here." Isabelle could have sworn half of the room swooned. Or half of the girls in the room. She and Alec were mostly the only ones who hated his behaviour. That was, until she saw the other glee club raising an eyebrow at her blonde brother.

"Alright. That obnoxious dyed blond goth weirdo is apparently called Jace. Anyone else wanna share their name?" A girl said sarcastically. Izzy giggled until Jace, who had come to stand next to her, elbowed her.

"You're supposed to be on my side!" He exclaimed. Before she had the chance to reply Clary interrupted her.

"No way! You?! You've got to be kidding me!" She yelled at Jace. His shoulders relaxed, showing that he felt comfortable around a person which was weird seeing that he only had that around Alec, Max and her. And how did they even know each other?!

"Hey, couldn't stay away, could you?" He said while winking. Clary only replied with a firm glare.

"Ooooh kay, can we..." Cody started but got interrupted by someone else.

Simon. Oh God.

"Simon!" The rivalling group exclaimed. Clary jumped straight into his arms. Oh hell, they knew each other. There goes Izzy's new found friendship.
