On Our Way Back

Summer's POV
"No! We're not going to Zack's house!"

"But Freddy you said!"

"Forget what I said!"

"Fine, stay out here. I'm leaving." I start to head out into the forest. I hear Freddy sigh.

"Summert, wait. Im coming too." He started to run towards me.

"I thought you didn't want to go to Zack's house?"

"Probably for the best." We walked in silence on the way to Zack's house. It started to rain on our way there.

I rang the doorbell to see Zack.

"Hey guys. What are you guys doing here?"

"Well, can we come in first." I ask soaking wet.

"Yeah, of coarse." He lets us in and gives us a towel.

"So what are you guys doing here?"

"We went into the forest to realise that we might have gotten too late." I say

"Why'd you guys go so late?"

"We were going to a place in the forest and it takes about an hour to get there and back." I say.

"Plus it was about 8:48 once we got there." Freddy says

"Can we stay the night here?" I ask

"Yeah, you guys can sleep in the guest bedroom. Follow me." He leads us to the guest bedrooms.

Zack and I were in the guest room. Freddy had a separate room. After we setted up, I thanked Zack.

"Thanks, Zack. For letting us stay the night."

"No problem."

"Hey, Zack?"

"Yeah?"

"If I do make a choice, will we still be good? If I chose him?"

"I don't know Summer. I would love to, but thats up to you."

"I think we would be good." I said smiling.

"Good." I pull out my phone to listen to a song.

"Whatcha listening to?"

"A song. Isn't it obvious."

"Yeah but what?" I played the song out loud.

In the middle of the song, I felt like I wanted to sing it out loud. My body took over me and I was singing.

"Hope you know that no one else gets me. Whatever comes our way I know we're on this ride for life."

Zack started singing along and I just went with it.

"Thats a great song." Zack said

"I know. It reminds me of how I think of you as my br-"

That did not just slip out of my mouth. I didn't even know where that came from!

"What?"

"Nothing. Umm, nothing."

"No no, what were you gonna say?"

"I said nothing."

"Okay, I'm gonna go to sleep then, I guess." Zack says getting up heading to the door

"Ok. Night."

"Night." Zack leaves and closes the door.

I was sitting on my bed, I let my body fall backwards. I soon fell asleep like that.

The next morning Freddy and I left so I can start packing for my flight back to LA.

I was in my room packing.

"So, you're actually going back to LA?" Lilly says walking in.

"What are you talking about?"

"I just thought that you would want to stay."

"For what?" I ask still packing.

"For your boyfriends." I stop packing.

"They're not my boyfriends."

"Summer, you're my cousin, I know you have feelings for them. Especially for-" I immediately cover her mouth.

"Dont say his name." I say raking my hand off her mouth.

"Why?"

"Because the author doesn't want the readers to find out who I like more."

"Its not like they can read your mind and hear what you're thinking."

"Leave."

"Just think Summer, the tours over. You could stay here with the boy you like more." Lilly leaves my room leaving me with mixed emotions.

I continue packing.

"Hey Sum." Sabrina says walking in."

"What is it now? You're gonna make me choose between them now?"

"Well no, that's Sky's job. But I was gonna ask if you're gonna be in that new show called, what was it called again?"

"Umm, Love Secrets?"

(Almost out after this book)

"Yeah that one."

"I'm not so sure."

"Why not? I heard it was gonna be the best romantic and comedy show yet!"

"I just don't know if I should even leave."

"Well, that's not my fault." Sabrina leaves my room.

"Hey Summer." Sky says as she walks in.

"Oh geez, here it goes."

"So, do you like them still?"

"Maybe, I don't know?"

"You do!"

"No, I don't."

"Ok, if you did, who would you choose?"

I stood there thinking about that question. I was thinking about that question for so long that I didn't realise that it has been 2 minutes.

"Summer?!"

"What?"

"Who do you think?"

"I dont know, Sky. But if I had to, I would choose....."

AND WE MADE IT!!!!!!! TIME TO VOTE! WHO SHOULD SUMMER CHOOSE?! NOW THIS IS ALL UP TO YOU GUYS!

HOPE YOU GUYS MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE!
