"Miss Velour Miss Velour Shea drew a picture of me!!" Katya sings as she prances into the art class with Shea following frantically behind trying to keep up. Miss Velour looks up from her desk, and grins, "Well let me see dear." Katya lays the paper down on her teachers desk proudly, "Oh my Вы прекрасны ." She grins again before snatching it from Velours desk, "I know." And runs to the other end of the room, "Come paint by me Shea!" Katya yells from the other end of the room as Shea walks by Miss velour, "You speak Russian?" Shea asks with a slight smirk, "I lived in Russia for a while, and my parents are from there." She laughs, "Hot." Shea whispers before running to Katya's side, "You, will paint by me." Katya demands as she carries an easel, and sits it right next to hers, "Are you a freshmen?" She asks with a look of suspicion, "No I'm a junior this is a Junior class." Shea chuckles as she lays out her paints, "Oh yes, sorry I'm a sophomore. I was moved to a more advanced class." Shea smiles at the other girl, "That's really cool."
Katya inhales sharply when Shea pulls out the painting she's currently working on, "You're so soхорошо."
"Thanks?" Shea looks back with suspicion
"Don't worry it was a compliment." Katya reassures before she begins painting, "I really like your style." She exclaims.

"So that was Katya?" Shea asks as she sits next to Sasha during her lunch period.
"Hm yes she is quite the handful. I had to teach her how to speak English when she first got here, and I was her part time translator she really helped me brush up on my Russian." Sasha exclaims before opening a pop she retrieved from the vending machine down the hallway.
"How'd that go?" Shea asks while leaning onto the desk beside her.
"Eh it was a pain sometimes I think she has ADHD, but it's not my place to diagnose. She's a very sweet girl though" Sasha laughs, "So Miss Shea. You've never really told me a lot about yourself. What's your family like? I mean, what's your darkest secret?" Sasha giggles as she leans closer to Shea.
"Well I grew up in a very suburban area, and I'm a military brat so I got moved around a lot."
"So you probably rarely get to see your parents, huh?" Sasha asks while piercing her lips.
"Yeah kind of I mean they're at home sometimes, but it feels like I never really get to see them that often." Shea exhales at the thought of her absent parents, "They kind of assumed that I was going to join the military instead of just straight up college after high school. Until they found all of the drawings, and paintings that I was hiding from them."
"How'd that all go down?" Sasha asks while tucking her hair behind her ears.
"Well my dad was furious, and my mom said she'd pay for my art school as long as I stuck to my guns, and didn't stop what I was doing. That was when art transferred from just some hobby to a full time job for me. "
"How's your relationship with your dad now?"
Shea rolls her eyes, "What is this twenty one questions?"
"It can be." Sasha puts her hand over Shea's, "I"m just trying to figure out who you are."
"You will I promise." Shea leans into Sasha, and hugs her tightly.
