Unexpected Help (1)

May's POV

"Roy!?" 

I hurriedly grab his arm and pull him inside our room and sure to lock the door.

"Please don't tell Jackson, okay? I'm searching for the right moment to tell him," Alice plead, but I know that she is imagining to make a machine that can make Roy forget about what she says or beat that head of Roy to make he lost his memories.

I'm still calming my heart for the shock and sending a 'don't you dare' look to Roy. He seems calm and smiling oddly.

"Of course not. I'm willing to help!" Said Roy.

Me and Alice look at him with our widen eyes.

Is he serious?

"O-oh if you want to," is all Alice can say after a moment of confusion.

"Ok, then. I'll be going to the dining room first. Karry and Jackson are waiting," said Roy, then he unlocked the door and go.

I exchanged glances with Alice. We are thinking the same thing, can we trust him?

When we went to the dining room, I see that he didn't do anything stupid and acts like nothing has happened. Good.

What he's planning to do?

After we eat, it's movie time. We brought our snacks and the maids made us some orange juice. I can start dieting tomorrow, can't I?

When I sit on one of the sofa, Roy quickly takes an empty spot next to me, so that there is no space left for Alice or Jackson to sit. So, Alice sits in the middle of Karry and Jackson. That's a good situation. 

Alice looks happy and secretly mouthed a 'YAS!' to me. While Karry is trying hard to be calm.

Roy is really helping, and I thought it's kinda rare for a boy to meddling in a girls problem.

"So, what movie do you want to watch, guys?" 

A laptop was connected to the television, so when Alice opens a website to search the movies it was also displayed on the television. 

"Let's watch a horror movie!" I said. It will be fun watching a horror genre movie together.

"H-huh?" Alice stuttering.

"Come on, it won't be scary because we watch it together. It will be fun!" I convince her.

"I-it's not that I'm scared, i-it's just that-" She looks around first.

"Just what?" I asked her because she still don't answer.

"Uhm, It's just that maybe Roy will be scared and can't sleep tonight!" She finally said.

Our attention turn to Roy who is busy opening a bag of chips. his mouth gaped because of confusion.

"Me? I thought that you will be the one who is scared, Alice," Roy said mockingly.

"No way, I bet you will be the one who screams the loudest."

"And I bet you will cry in the middle of the movie."

"That will be you!"

"No, you!"

"You!"

They are too focused on their debate about who is more scared and didn't notice Karry who is sitting between them with a lost expression and was shouted by both sides.

I find this situation funny, Jackson seems like he has the same thought as me too, twins.

"Ok, Ok, that's enough you two," said Jackson calmly with a little giggles.

Alice's blush can be seen while Roy can only pout. And Karry finally can takes a breath with relieve.

 We end up watching 'Conjuring 2'. Both Alice and Roy were really scared. Whenever the ghost appears, they will scream the loudest and honestly, they looked more frightened than the actor in the movie. 

"Here, use this to cover your face," Jackson offers a sofa pillow to Alice.

"T-thanks," Alice stutters, maybe because she is happy that Jackson shows a little care for her or because of the movie.

Finally some progress, I must thank Roy for this. I move my gaze to Roy, he seems like noticing what happen to Alice and Jackson too. We exchange smile before we turn our attentions back to the movie again, and the ghost appear at that moment. Roy is panic and unknowingly grab my arm. 

Sigh, this kid 

I pat his back to calm him.

The movie ends and we goes back to our room to sleep because it's already late. We said goodbye to each other although we only separated by a wall.  

"Alice, I want to go out for a bit," I said

"But,"

"It won't be long"

Then, I go out from our room. It was dead silent when I make my way to the balcony to meet him.
