"Wonwoo, y-you came?" Hoshi couldn't believe that I was there, standing outside the gate of his house. I heard that they were all having a little party, meaning everybody was present.
"Where's Seungcheol?" I asked as I made myself welcome. Hoshi was still shocked.
"He's on the couch with the boys, playing XBOX." He pointed in.
I didn't need to ask for direction. I stood in front of the television, blocking their vision of the game.
Woozi was the first one to recognize me since everybody was too immersed on the game.
"W-wonwoo?" He asked.
I pulled the plug off before asking.
"Who's her?"
Everyone gazed around the room.
"We don't see any girls around." Seungkwan replied who was terribly anxious. He crawled next to Seungcheol who was confused.
"Wonwoo has a third-eye?" Dokyum asked everyone, and things got more confusing.
"You're the friends noted on the message. Seungkwan and Dokyum was the noisy ones and Mingyu was the one who thought we're really close." I explained.
"But we really do." Mingyu asserted.
"So, who was her? She's our classmate before." I asked everyone.
Even though they didn't say a word, they understood.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Seungcheol placed the controller on the table and stood up.
The boys remained silent.
"Come on, Coups. Do I have to beg?"
"We really don't know anything." Seungcheol answered for everyone.
Lies.
They perfectly knew what I was talking about.
"Come on..." I mumbled, but they kept on denying. I couldn't be mad at them. There's no one to blame except for myself.
That night, everyone asked for staying the night at Hoshi's house to celebrate my return.
They were joyful to be united with me. As much as I wanted to celebrate with them, the messages kept on bothering me.
Especially her.
"Wasn't she gone? Move on." Seungcheol followed me on the doorsteps. He just spilled that he knew.
"I killed her. And I can sleep soundly at night. I just forgot about her that easily."
He offered me a mug of beer, but I declined.
"She's alive."
I looked at him. But the letter said otherwise...
I have so many questions to ask.
"I'm so glad that you're back. I've been waiting for your return. But, it wasn't like the way that I expected. I thought you would have remembered."
