'Baby! Where are you staring?' Aera tugged my arm as I spaced out.
Even though I wanted to deny it, this started when she left. At first, it was a relief and now I was being hunted by the past.
Everything reminds me of her.
And I was terrified, because the past was so clear to me. Everything about it.
Especially her smiles.
'Nothing.' I removed my eyes on the store where I bought her the bag from the night of Christmas' Eve.
'Don't tell me that you want to buy me a bag too. We shopped a lot for today. Let's save it for next time.' I heard Aera giggle. We were holding a lot of shopping bag. We've strolled all day around the shopping district.
I never shopped like these with her. She's been meticulous on how I should spend my money. She barely asked me for anything too.
--------------
'What's happening here?' I asked. My whole kitchen was wet.
I hurriedly open the window to let the smoke off.
'I triggered the fire alarm. I-i was just cooking.' Aera answered defensively.
For a woman, she had no talent on cooking. And it was bad since I didn't know how to cook too.
