Interview Author:@SpunkyIceCream_07
Interview Character: Kai
1. To start us off, how old are you?
I’m 17 and ¾
2. What are your secret skills?
Other than being awesome? Just kidding, I wish I had secret skills. I always wanted to be like catwoman. The whole nine lives thing is pretty appealing.
3. What is one thing that people love about you?
People tend to love my humor. I don't really see myself as comical; I just say whatever comes to my mind.
4. What is one thing that people hate about you?
My sassiness and sarcasm, mostly because I tell the truth and it can be seen as very pessimistic. I see it as being a realist but realism isn't what people like to hear all the time.
5. What are your strengths?
One of my strengths, personality wise, is that I'm fairly intelligent and crafty. Therefore, when my friends or people I know get into trouble, they usually call on me to help.
6. What are your weaknesses?
One of my weaknesses is the fact that I'm so oblivious to things occurring around me. I usually fail to put certain things together if I'm not paying attention and that tends to get me into unfavorable situations.
7. What do you usually do for fun?
Curl up in my cow spotted onesie, grab a large bowl of ice cream, some nutella, and whip cream to watch episodes of Shameless.
8. Who is your other half (if you have one)?
Other half? Like romantically? Liam Hemsworth, but he doesn’t know it yet. I’m still working on getting him to realize that but getting past the bodyguards are proving to be more difficult than I expected.
10. Say three words that describe you.
Determined, sassy, and hungry
11. What do others think of you?
It honestly depends on who the others are. My friends think I’m a good friend who is loyal, honest, and supportive. My brother thinks I’m the most annoying, overbearing, sister the universe has ever created. My parents believe me to be their strange, quirky, baby girl and the family I work for thinks of me as a hard worker who has won the hearts of their children—except for Mickey, but let’s not talk about him.
12. Who are your parents? Where are they?
My mother is probably at home right now sipping on some wine and watching the latest episode of Fashion Police or some celebrity gossiping television show. Meanwhile, Dad is probably off at the police station interrogating some criminal. I like to think of him like one of the cops on Law and Order or something but in reality that's not likely, not with that beer belly of his.
13. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, one, a brother. I think he’s fourteen (pauses and says in astonishment) yeah wow he’s fourteen. His name is Kyle.
14. What would you name your daughter if you had one?
Kalila, it means dearly loved and if I have a daughter, that’s what she’ll be. I want her to know that wherever she goes and having it as her name will certainly remind her of that.
15. What would you name your son if you had one?
Liam Jr. after his future father Liam Hemsworth. (Laughs) If that doesn’t work out—and it will—he’ll probably be named Kenton. It means royal chieftain, but to me, my son will be little prince and instead of being like Michael Jackson and putting my child’s name as such, I’ll make it subtler.
16. How old do you think you’ll be when you get married?
I’m not sure; I’m not a psychic, but if males aren’t scared by weirdness, between the ages of 27 and 35. Before then I’ll be finishing college and traveling, fulfilling some of my dreams, so they’ll be no place for marriage.
17. What is your occupation?
I’m a babysitter for the amazing family of the Armettas. Their daughters, Allegra and Elena, are absolutely wonderful. Though, I can’t say the same for their brother.
18. What do you think of your sibling?
Ha. Kyle? He can be a nice kid if he isn’t being a dweeb and hitting on my friends. He can be annoying sometimes but what little brother isn’t? At the end of the day, I love him and regardless of our disagreements, I would do anything for him.
19. Where did you learn your abilities/skills when you were younger?
You mean my ability to be amazing? I was born with it. (Laughs)
20. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
Depends on whom—no actually, I don’t find killing acceptable at all. It has to be extreme circumstances; for instance, if it’s in self-defense and it’s the only, ONLY way, then I can understand. Otherwise, it’s morally wrong and unjustified.
21. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings?
With my thoughts, I’m pretty honest. I’m not afraid to share most of them because they’re usually pretty truthful and sometimes random. And everyone needs a bit of truth and randomness. Yet with my feelings, not very—to be honest with emotions is hard because that makes you more vulnerable and I’m not used to that. I’m the one that takes care of others; that task requires me to be honest and helpful but never forces me to reveal my emotions. Being the rock that many people rely on requires me to be emotionally stable and figured out or at least seem that way. Do you ask your therapist what’s wrong?
22. How close are you/were you with your family?
I’m pretty close to my family—well, my brother. My mom and Dad are usually off in their own worlds. Recently, I’ve grown closer to the family I work for but that’s causing me to grow further away from my own family.
23. Who do you turn to when life gets rough?
If anyone, my best friend Miranda. She’s like a sister.
24. What song best describes you?
Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani (laughs)
25. What annoys you more than anything else?
People who believe they’re superior to others. At the end of the day we’re all human; you bleed just like I do. Therefore, don’t act like your poo don’t stink.
26. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why?
I don’t know what the future is but I think you have to remain hopeful when thinking about the future. If you don’t it can be hard to find a reason to continue forward.
27. What advice would you give to lovers?
Love in the moment. Love the good. Realize the bad and if you can love that too, hold onto it forever.
28. What advice would you give to admirers?
Live to your full potential and nothing less and if it helps to admire someone, do so but don’t aspire to be him; admire his good inner aspects and aspire to be all that and more. Aspire to be happy with who you are and to love yourself.
