Interview Character: Aaron Heathcliff
1. To start us off, how old are you?
I'm 17, turning 18 soon.
2. What are your secret skills?
Secret skills? Well, if I told you it wouldn't be a secret, wouldn't it? Haha.
3. Tell us something that nobody knows about you.
Nobody (besides my foster parents and social workers, I guess) know that my birth name is actually Heathcliff, just Heathcliff. Aaron was something my foster parents thought of.
4. What is one thing that people love about you?
People love about me? I have no clue since I'm not that loveable! Best to ask Henry about that. He's been around for most of my life.
5. What is one thing that people hate about you?
The fact that I'm a vegetarian. Jesse always likes to make fun of it and my foster parents even forget about it!
6. What are your strengths?
My main strength is my love for music. It's gotten me out of a lot of trouble and always cheers me up. With it, I can do anything.
7. What are your weaknesses?
I would say but I'm pretty sure xMagnumOpus would kill me since it's a huge part of the book.
8. What do you usually do for fun?
Play guitar, piano, listen to music, write songs etc. Basically, anything to do with music.
9. Who is your other half?
My other half, unfortunately, I have not found yet I do have a teensy crush on a certain dip dyed girl.
10. Say three words that describe you.
Musical, dedicated and I'm going to say...loyal. Wait, loyal and dedicated are the same thing. God, hmm, lazy aha.
11. What do others think of you?
Best to ask them, I think, but I know Cat likes how friendly I am with her.
12. Who are your parents? Where are they now?
I don't know who my birth parents are but my foster parents are Laura and Joseph Samuels. They're quite wealthy and well known where I'm from.
13. Do you have any siblings?
No, none that I know of.
14. What would you name your daughter, if you had one?
Oooh, tricky question. I've always liked the name Imogen.
15. What would you name your son, if you had one?
Kyle, for sure. That's just a cool name.
16. How old do you think you’ll be when you get married?
I'd like to say 23 but knowing how much of a loner I am, I'll probably stay single for the rest of my life.
17. Do you speak any other languages?
I speak French and Spanish. (Thank you GCSEs)
18. Do you have any nicknames? If so, what are they? How did you get them?
Henry sometimes called me Heath. Some people call me Heathcliff. That's only because of my surname -_-
19. What is your most prized possession? Why do you value it so much?
My guitar collection. I worked so hard to get those. If anyone even lays a hand on it, they're dead. Got that? Dead.
20. If you were to die in 24 hours, name what three things you’d do in the time you had left.
I would tell Cat my feelings for her, ride a motorcycle and have a night out with my band.
21. Why do you choose to hang out with the friends you do now?
I ask myself the same question. Henry is the only person who's stuck by me when no one else would but Mickey and Jesse? God knows. Honestly.
22. Do you think the future is hopeful. Why?
Yes, because without hope, we are hopeless. Oh God, that sounded stupid. I'll try again. Without hope, there is no motivation, no purpose. That's why the future will always remain hopeful.
