A girl who lives in Toledo has weird dreams, nightmares, and imaginations. After she travels to Columbus, she realizes everything in her imagination becoming true. Her confident and support from her sister and mysterious friends led her to overcome all of those things. - Story I wrote when I was in 8th grade. I recommend not to read it since it's kinda confusing and not well written. I like the plot tho :) -

Cleo is the frost queen, an odd ally for Oro, king of the Sunling lands. But perhaps their friendship makes a kind of sense. This scene takes place after Oro reveals Isla's secret and allies himself with Cleo. (VERY mild spoilers for the end of the book.) Oro just desperately needed some characterization and I wanted to build a bit on the thin scaffolding that Alex gave us. So I, as a character writer, took it on myself to write this little scene.

This book features a collection of some of the reviews that I have written for fellow members in the #NBR community. These comments span across the following categories Description, Plotting and POV, Characterization, Scene Construction, and Advanced Editing. I will also include a few other pieces in here such as "Advice for Young Writers" and later "Popular Writing Books on the Market." The Next Big Recognition or #NBR is more than just a contest; it is an amazing writing community that features some of the most talented writers and reviewers that Wattpad has to offer. All members undergo a thorough screening process to ensure the quality of their work. Once you join, you then participate in weekly reviews of three chapters from fellow members. Recognition is given to both the spotlighted authors for the week and for those reviewers whose critiques were deemed most useful by the authors. To learn more about #NBR visit @DawnStarling's profile or my profile to look up the #NBR contest book. (Remember, not everyone can be a member; acceptance into the community is in itself an honor!) Please do not ask me to review your work. At this time, I only review for #NBR members. Best wishes, C. Avalerias

This is a short story I wrote. It's a quick read and it is pretty interesting. It is indirect characterization and if I describe it any more, it'll spoil the story so click to find out I guess haha.

I don't tell anyone else about it because no-one else can see it like I can: how the paint spreads away from my lilac finger-strokes like birds flitting from the nest, flying over the wall from one side to another and resting along the skirting board until it plops onto the carpet... it swoops, soars, swings... I don't know how to explain it to other people. They don't understand. All they see are streaks of paint. I wish they could see. Their life could be a lot more colourful that way. (A brief character study of mine, spanning multiple chapters.)
