Alice's P.O.V.
I woke up in the morning smelling my mom's breakfast. Yum, I spemlt bacon and eggs.
"Alice! Wake up now! I made food!" My mom yelled from down the hall.
Ugh! "Okay, I'll be down in a minute!" I hate being told to wake up.
I rolled over and checked my phone. I noticed an un-read text. It was from Perry.
PERRY: Morning Beautiful! Hope you slept well, I don't want to wake you but I wanted to say 'Good Morning' Plz text me when when you can. ;) XOXO
Just then I remember what we said to each other last night.
OMG! I hadn't remebered what we said till now!
"Alice! Get down here and eat!" My mom saounded closer this time.
"Okay Mom!"

So after breakfast I went back up to my room and got ready for the day. When I was out of the shower I texted Nicole.
ME: Hey! OMG you will never guess what Perry and I talked about last night! :D
NICHOLE: What?!
ME: Well we were flirting really hard last night and he has something he wants to ask me when we are together next! *EEC!*
NICHOLE: REALLY!!!! OMG!!! I have been shipping that for a while now, just so you know! I am so happy! So when will Pali be a thing?!?!
ME: WTF is Pali?
NICHOLE: Perry + Ali. Gosh get with the program!
ME: Ohh! ok! and idk. when every we see eachother again.
NICOLE: Hang out with him TODAY!
ME: No I am not ready to see him yet! Do you want to hang out with me today?! *Please say yes*
NICOLE: Yeah only because i want you to tell me everything that was said!!
ME: Okay thanks maybe talking will help. idk though
NICOLE: Idc if it helps I just want to know!
ME: Okay I'll be over in a while
NICOLE: kk :)
Just then I got a text. I saw the ID. It read Perry<3 My heart started racing and I started a panic attack. Finally i was able to muster up the courage to read the text.
PERRY: Heyy you ;) Whatcha doing today? Want to hang out?
ME: Heyy. Want to but cant..... Hanging out with NIcole today. Sorry.
PERRY: Ohh, :'(
ME: Please don't cry hun. you'll make me sad. :(
PERRY: Okay tell her hi. But i am still going to txt you all day ;)
ME: Thats fine ;)
PERRY: so whatcha doing?
ME: Ohh nothing really. Just getting ready to go over to her house.
PERRY: Ohh ok. I miss you
ME: I miss you too
PERRY: So my mom told me that I was getting a '68 Ford pickup for my birthday.
ME: Awesome, I will be driveing a '92 Volkswagen Jetta
Perry: But I get to drive before you do so I want to drive you around untill you can drive.
I was only 5 months younger than him, so he was always pulling the 'until you can' card.
ME: Ok, I would like that ;)
PERRY: So ill be at you house in a couple of minutes?
ME: No, its fine, My mom will drive me, Thx tho.
PERRY: Ohh :(
ME: you know how I feel when you look sad
PERRY: What you going to do?
ME: Not talk to you...
PERRY: That will make me even sadder.
ME: Well, be happy. I dont want to talk to a Debbie Downer.. :)
PERRY: Well I dont know who this Debbie that you speak of, But my name is Perry, and i am a guy.
ME: I know that you are a guy. lol
PERRY: I wish I could see you smile right now
ME: Perry, whats going on between us? Is it just friendly flirting or something more. You know everything that I have been threw with past guys and I cant be hurt, if I got hurt buy you it would hurt 100000000000000000000000000000000000x more becuse its coming from you. I dont to set up for something big than not have anything happen.
PERRY: I want to do it in person, so please just hold on till the next time I see you. I promise that I will NOT hurt you. I care for you too much. If you want I will stop flirting with you.
ME: I just want a straight answer. That’s it.
PERRY: I am giving you a straight answer. Just wait till the next time I see you, please.
ME: Fine
PERRY: Please don’t be mad at me Baby.
ME: Sorry I have to go I am at Nicole’s house. I’ll talk to you later hun
PERRY: Alice wait
I had heard enough. He knew how the guys from my past have hurt me. I can’t deal with being hurt right now, exceptionally from him.
