Those Three Short Words

Chapter Two

I was hanging out with Perry again last night. This time it felt different somehow, like I felt different being around him. 

I first saw him across the street as my, at our towns Christmas parade, the moment that he saw me he left his friends almost instantly and come running over to me.

My heart began to race when I saw him running towards me. When he reached me, I felt like I needed to throw up, I have a circus in my tummy, and I had 'Horton dancing on his tipy toes thinking that he was as light as a feather' like in Horton Hears a Who.

"Hey, Ali! How are you?" He asked. That simple question brought me out of my daze.

"Hey! Dude I am REALLY cold!!" I responded, shaking from the 5 degree weather.

"Me too, but how have you been?" 

"I have been pretty good. Also really cold! What kind of weather is this! It never gets this cold here!"

"It's good to hear that you are good."

He gave me his breath-taking smile. He just looked deep into my big brown eyes. I knew that very second that I had fallen so hard for him and there was no going back now. That thought made me blush.

"What are you thinking about, Ali? You just started blushing out of the blue."

"Oh nothing to important. I promise that I will tell you some other time, Perry."

Would I tell him about this new found feeling? No! That would just complicate things between us again. I don't want to loose him again! I cant loose him again!

"Alright, just between us, you look so beautiful when you blush. So whatever you were thinking about I hope you never stop thinking about it." He winked at me. The same friendly way that he has always.

I want to tell him right then and there that he was the reason for me blushing but i knew that it wasn't the right time to.

"You really think that I look beautiful?" I tried my hardest to keep eye contact with his gorgeous warm brown eyes. I could feel my checks starting to heat up.

"Yes! are you crazy girl? You are the beautiful-est person that I have ever met in my life. I think that you will still be when I die. Ali, you are so perfect it hurts me sometimes."

"Wow no body has every said anything remotely close to that to me. Thanks so much Perry."

"Anytime, by the way, any guy would be lucky to call you theirs. I know I would be."

"Perry, whats gotten in to you? Its not that I don't like having all of the is attention, but its weird when I get it."

When I said that, his face got as red as a tomato. 

"Umm, well Ali there's something that I--"

"Alice! We are leaving now! Lets go!" My mom yelled from down the street from us.

"I am really sorry, Perry. How about..... text me later and finish telling me what you need to say. Kay?"

"As you wish.."

He knew that was my favorite line in all movie history, and he only said it to me when he wanted to be really sweet. 

I just grabbed his hand and gave it a squeese.

"Can't wait."

I smiled at him and returning he gave me his breath-taking smile. That smile is ine that I cannot describe it. In anyway.

I just loved it. Almost as much as I loved him, I thought, DID I REALLY JUST THINK THAT!!!!!!!!!

it was already 10 p.m. and he still hadn't texted me. So I decided to text my best friend and tell her what happened.

ME: Heyy gurl, whatcha be up to?! :D I have gotz to tell you something pretty big!!!!

LEXI: Heyy, what do you want?!

ME: So today I fell in love with Perry! Also he told me that I was the most beautiful person that he's ever seen!!! HOw cute is that?!

LEXI: Perry...? Is that your 'best guy friend'?

ME: Yes! Gosh, where have you been? :/

LEXI: Sorry I don't keep up with everything that happens to you! Gosh! Is that all you needed to tell me, because you are interrupting my Supernatural watching time!!!!

ME: Fine I will let you go! I will tell you about it later!  -.-

With Lexi being no help I decided to text Perry.

ME: Heyy :)

PERRY: Sorry, I can't talk right now I am really busy! :,( I am so sorry Ali!!! 

ME: Its totally fine. We can always text another time. :) Also don't cry. YOu look to good to cry ;)

PERRY: This I why I love you. I'll text you in the morning.

ME: KK :)

His last text made me blush. I didn't know how he met it. Probably just met it as friends. I am just over-reacting over this are'nt I?
