     I watch as the light leaves Melanie eyes as I tell her that Payton is Moving. "It's okay" she says looking away from me. She smiles back at me and walks away to her 7th period class. "wow it's sad just watching two people drift apart " someone says from behind me, I turn around to see who the voice belongs to, It was Leo me and Leo used to be Close friends before Melanie and Payton. but we drifted apart the same way me and Melanie are.. "Hey!" I say. He's always been my ease when I was dealing with something. "Want to hang out? Like the good ole days. And do our 'numb pain smoking' "he says grinning at me I smile and nod. "Would love to" we walk to our last class of the week.
I look down at my phone still no Answer from Melanie I'm about to call her when I see her walking out of the school building. "Where the hell were you? I've been looking everywhere for you!" I say not trying to sound harsh but that's the way it came out. "God I can't have a little time to myself? For fuck sakes!" She says storming off I watch her leave for the 2nd time today. "You ready to go?!" Leo says getting his keys. "Yup"
