"But I don't wanna go to school!"

Ayumi cried out dramatically. "Summer is supposed to be spent anywhere other than school" Ignoring her completely, Uraraka packed a bag for Ayumi. Extra clothes, food, water books, stationary set, anything to make sure she didn't make any excuses to leave. She put the bag over her daughter's shoulders, causing Ayumi to stumble under the weight. "HEAVY!" Ayumi complained, trying to regain her balance. Uraraka watched her daughter struggle in vain. Her 'helpless' child.
"Why don't you use your powers?"

Ayumi stopped struggling momentarily, arms still wavering under the weight. She put the bag down and took a deep breath, slinging the bag over her shoulder. "See? Easy peasy" she said in a strained voice in between labored breaths. Uraraka looked at her in disbelief, "this is ridiculous" she complained, "just think about your bag flying and it will, easy peasy". Ayumi ignored her mother, stumbling away. Even as each step grew heavier, the green glow did not appear. Not even for when Ayumi tripped. The bag above crushing her. Uraraka rushed over, her hand hovering over the bag.

She waited to see wether or not Ayumi would use her power to save herself. But after listening to her daughter suffocate without any intention to lift the bag, Uraraka tapped the bag. Immediately, Ayumi gasped for breath, coughing in relief. "45 seconds" Ayumi announced. "How are you a top class hero again?" Uraraka said nothing, not even bothering to TRY and argue with her. Ayumi may have only been 5, but she had the vocabulary of a 50 year old writer at her disposal. She was quite gifted and brilliant. Everyone said she had a bright future ahead of her. The only problem was, Ayumi didn't want the light to be emerald green.

Glowless but determined, Ayumi set of once more on the adventure that would change her life.

"CABLAMO!" Ayumi screamed, slamming the weightless bag on the ground. Picking it up, she looked at the long road ahead, silently wishing she had a bike. Or that she could use her powers - "NO!" She said out loud, causing a clueless group of pedestrians to jump back. "No no no no no no..." she kept repeating, hoping that it would sink in. Her powers were nonexistent. Since that faithful day 3 months ago, she was officially Quirkless.

"I don't need powers to be a hero"

Sprinting ahead, Ayumi thought about her situation very thoroughly.

Ayumi: 'it's cool, I totally got this'
Ayumi #2: 'what about all the things you could accomplish with just the flick of your finger?"
Ayumi: 'if I can't do it myself, then I'm just plain lazy'
Ayumi #2: 'but...'
Ayumi: 'it's ok to be Quirkless'
Ayumi #2: 'what would dad think?'
Ayumi: 'dad...'

She stopped in her tracks, as if she had walked into a knife that stabbed her in the heart. "Dad..." Ayumi thought to herself, "does not exist" He was never there, and he never will be, end of story. Feeling even more empty than before, Ayumi tried to walk forward. Though weightless, the gigantic bag began to weigh her down. Before Ayumi could back out, she realized something that could have saved her a lot of heartache.

She was already in her destination.
"Oh" she stated, "UA"
Ayumi stepped back to admire the great building that stood before her. "Wow, it's big!" she cried out for the sake of drama. "O my! Never would I have thought to find such a majestic and magnificent building." Ayumi said 'building' with A LOT of sarcasm. "Yes, I quite agree with you child"

Slightly surprised, Ayumi turned around to see a small man. Or was it a mouse? Ayumi looked again. "A mouse" she said with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever. The mouse sighed, "well, that makes two today" He examined the girl, who was still looking very confused at the moment. "You must be miss..." the principal thought about what he was going to say next very carefully. "Uraraka?" He finished questionably. "Just Ayumi is fine Mr. Mouse Man" she replied quickly and plainly. "Aha, close though" Mr. Mouse Man said, "it's actually Principal." Ayumi looked at the Principal, sighing loudly. "Sure" the 'Principal' was about to confirm his identity when Ayumi's watch went off, the alarm not the only thing she noticed. Suddenly, the bag regained all the weight it lost. The straps digging into her back once more.

In an immense amount of pain, Ayumi looked at the principal with tear-filled eyes, "where... are... the... classrooms?"
"Straight, pass 3 interesting hallways then make a right" the Principal dictating step by step. Slamming the bag to the ground and letting out an audible sigh of relief, she said, "thank you for your cooperation."

Limping with the bag trailing behind her, Ayumi followed the Principal's instructions to the letter. Ayumi had a very powerful and long lasting memory. "That never fades..." Ayumi sighed, memories of her past flowing back to her in vivid and vibrant colors. Thankfully, however, her time to reminisce on depressing past events had been cut short by an ear popping sound. It was a woman, and she was screeching so loudly, Ayumi thought she had been tearing her lungs and vocal cords in the process. Wait, Ayumi thought quickly, was that a cry for help? In a rush, Ayumi gave up on her belongings and sprinted to the classroom where she heard the scream.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!" The anonymous voice continued, the air beginning to be torn to pieces as well as Ayumi's ear drums. "PLEASE!" The voice said finally. "GEEZ, Thank all that is pure and beautiful!" Ayumi said aloud, "I was beginning to think this person was illiterate"
"STOP YOU TWO PLEASE!"

Out of nowhere, a teenage girl with white hair came dashing out of a classroom, followed by a blazing column of fire. "What?" Ayumi stopped running, stumbling along the hallway. With one split second move, the mysterious white haired girl came dashing toward Ayumi. Then, another person came out, completely covered in flames. "DIE!" He screamed with a grin, throwing a fireball that engulfed the whole hallway. The white haired girl easily slipped into one of the intersections in the hallway. But before doing so, she caught a glimpse of the wide eyed girl standing in the line of fire. "WAIT!" She was able to scream, as Ayumi was devoured by the fire.
