"Are you sure about this sweetheart?"
Asked a very concerned Uraraka. "I mean, this is a bit... unusual, right?" Ayumi did not look at her mother, too busy packing her things for school. "I really would feel a lot better if you would at least tell me that you will use your powers." Annoyed, an 8 year old Ayumi looked at her mother head on, "Mom, I'll be fine, trust me." Still unsure, Uraraka looked at her daughter and decided it was no use arguing with her. "If you insist..."
Feeling a little guilty about her attitude, Ayumi approached her mother, giving her a really big and reassuring hug. "I promise I will when I really need to. See you after school?" Ayumi asked, zipping up her bag. "Yes, see you." Sprinting away, Ayumi thought about how much fun she could have in her new school, especially with all the new 'toys' to play with.
Ayumi had changed a lot since that day 3 years ago in UA. She had cut her hair so it was just touching her shoulders and she had taken several classes to increase her strength, agility and stamina. Not to mention she looked very different physically. She may have been only 8, but she already began developing a curvy figure. She could have been mistaken for a freshman in high school. This is gonna be interesting.
"Now everyone, settle down please, Mitsuo, stop turning into water to try and escape class!" A boy with blonde hair and brown eyes looked at the professor with a sly smile, "whoops, guilty." Sighing, the professor tried to continue, "now everyone, we have a new student and I want you to make this person feel welcome." Kyousuke looked at the clock that was right behind the teacher. "Wow" Kyousuke said, "late on his first day." Looking at Kyousuke, his teacher gave him a very strained smile, "I'm sorry to say, but that statement is incorrect, Mr. Todoroki." Kyousuke, confused, asked, "what do you mean by that?"
"What he means," continued a voice coming from the door, "is you were supposed to say 'she'". Everyone's attention was now on Ayumi, who was leaning against the door. Amused by all the gawking faces, she strode confidently to where the professor was sitting. "Yes, well done Ms. Ayumi"
Still trying to process what just happened, Kyousuke raised his hand. "Yes?" Ayumi asked, pointing at Kyousuke, "do you have a question?" He looked at her, she looks so... familiar. Trying to get the thought out of his mind, he asked, "why are you here?" Ayumi looked confused by this question. "'Why am I here?'" She repeated, "to study, why else?" Kyousuke looked around, making sure he was in the right school. Because if he was, then he would be in Tensai Academy, a school for boys.
Obviously, as the only girl in the room, Ayumi stood out. Sighing, she took out a pencil from her bag and started fiddling with it. Then a guy with blue hair and green eyes asked another question, "what's your last name?" The pencil flew out of Ayumi's hand with a glow that Kyousuke was very familiar with. It stabbed the table where the blue haired boy was sitting, traumatized. The whole class looked at her in fear and awe. "So as you can see," Ayumi began explaining, completely neglecting the question at hand, "My Quirk is: Control"
"C-c-con-trol?" The blue haired boy stuttered, the pencil she 'controlled' in his hand. "Oh, yeah, sorry about the whole pencil thing Mitsuhide-kun." Mitsuhide's eyes grew wide, mouth hanging open. "How..." he asked, as if he didn't really want to know the answer to his own question. Ayumi brought out a notebook, reading from a page she folded, "Today, we caught the professor watching something very dirty in the broom cupboard-" she was interrupted by the sound of the teacher spitting out his coffee. "You, use your powers to steal?" He asked, everyone now looking at her in disgust. But their looks did not seem to daunt her even a little. Ayumi let loose a long sigh, "and you guys call yourselves 'heroes'. I found this on my way here" then Mitsuhide blushed, ashamed in his behavior and the way he tried to put the blame on the new kid. "Sorry" he said, standing up, "I would like to make it up to you, please allow me to give you the tour."
The whole class went silent. Then came an explosion of voices.
Did he just say he'd give her a tour?
Wow, way to go man.
Did he... ask her out?
Bro, she's gonna turn you down.
Ayumi cleared her throat, causing a sudden silence to befall the class. "I would love to go with you." It took a moment for the students at Tensai Academy to process the exchange that took place.
No way bro, that's so cool!
I knew he could do it!
They don't make that bad of a couple
Come on man, let us have some of the ladies too"EXCUSE ME!" The professor projected his voice, causing some of the windows to be fractured. "Please, Ms. Ayumi, just take your seat beside Ryuunosuke over there." Ayumi looked to where the teacher had asked her to stay. There were several empty seats that surrounded a boy with long hair and thick black glasses. His face buried in his computer."Or would someone GENTLEMANLY give up their seat for the lovely lady?" A few people reluctantly raised their hands. However, without another word, Ayumi took the seat right beside him. Ryuunosuke gave her a quick glance and then looked at her again, confused. "Why are you here?" He asked her. "Sitting" she responded, bringing out a notebook and her pencils. "Got a problem with that, Ryuunosuke-kun?" She asked him casually, as if they were old friends. He blushed, "no" he said briefly, giving her another long look before going back to his computer.
"LET THE CLASS BEGIN!"
