Chapter Two: To find the truth

   A young girl with short hacked hair walked down the pearl white hall with the velvet red carpet soft to her feet. Her small toes curled and uncurled unaccustomed to it. That day she wore a white torn Sunday dress given to her by Kaname. Only because her younger twin sister Yuki didn't want it.

  The lights were dim so dim that it was almost pitch black in the hallways. Yet a small blinding slash of bright light escaped from a room. So unconsciously getting a little bit closer to see what it was. The sight of Yuki made her remember that this was the room Yuki was kept in. Giggles and laughs of one person she envied and another she loved rang through the air. Along with the chuckles of her parents who were unfair.

    Sitting in a red couch was her sister and beloved happily chatting away. As they smilled at each other something she had never seen from him before. Then before them was her beautiful mother and handsome father fondly staring at the couple. Like a pair of parents watching there son-in-law get along with there daughter.

    She was in a daze tell Juri said," Kaname you really do love Yuki don't you."

   Heart clench and pumping madly as a mountain of rocks piled ever so quickly while sweat went down the nap of her neck. His answer she'll never forget," Yes I do love Yuki more than anything and way more than that monster in the basement."

Smiling proudly at his answer Haruka asked," Then would you take the honor of marrying Yuki when she's older?"

  Calming nodding with a gental smile he answered as if it was known for a while," Of course I'd marry the love of my life. But I still have to make Kira think I love her cause she's my pawn to insure Yuki's safety and life."

  Staring shocked at the door a pain hit her like never before as her heart broke it crumbled and turned into nothing but smoke. Grabbing at where it hurt she felt something wet trail down her face and let a smile escape. Yet when she noticed it was blood her eyes widened.

    Smelling the sweet blood of his beloved he looked towards the hall to see a figure. What he saw shocked him and made him jump to his feet fast. There she stood out like a sore thumb in a white dress against the red like a white rose in a sea of red roses. Walking towards her with hurried steps she turned away and fled the scene. Yuki who caught up to him tugged his sleeve and spoke to him," Kana- nii?"

   Ignoring her made Yuki throw a fit shaking things in a tantrum of anger. As Kaname left a room in a hurry running down the feet hitting the velvet red carpet fast and strong. With only the sound of his heart.

* thunk* * thunk * * thunk *

   Coming  to a stop at a white chipped door and with a fearm hand he twisted the rusted golden handle . But the door didn't budge and he swore under his breath.

   All my life the only thing I've ever wanted was to be loved. Is that to hard to ask? For the love of a mother and father or be happy and loved by a older brother and a younger sister.

   None of my wishes have been granted and the one time I think it did. It's gone in a seconded and you feel like your only created to be a tool. To be used and then thrown away when done with.

  Know the only thing I need is myself and Uncle Rido. He's the only one who's actually loved me for me. Me and him have the same eyes but mine are brighter and I have white hair. I dont see why my family only hates me because of my appearance. I think it's what's inside that counts.

   At times I had wished that I were dead and sometimes I wished Kaname-sama wouldn't leave me. But I just found out that Kaname- sama didn't love me. He loved Yuki my twin sister and hated me just like my parents and other half because of my looks. I guess even vampires fear what they don't know just like Humans.

    So I'm going to leave this place filled with sorrows. I'm going to start a new and happy life. Or just die out there in the snow. At least then I'd be set free which I think is good since I'll be sent back to were I came from before birth on my birthday. I think this is going to be the best birthday ever.

Dear Kuran's

     If you are reading this letter it just means I have left. I'm sorry for ruining your lives and causing you pain. So that is why I have left so that Yuki my other half more like my better half can have a great life. Were she can bare the children of Kaname- sama and live happily married. Then for Kaname to have a wonderful wife and many children. To be happy and loved for the rest of his life beside Yuki. It's sad how I won't be able to see your children cause I may have died out there in the snow. Then I'll be able to return to were I came from before birth. Haruka I wish you and Juri a happy and cheerful life surrounded by grandchildren k. So be happy.
