Skyla: Hey there, everyone! What's up? I'm back in the house!
Black: Jeez, you're really excited, and shouting all over the place.
White: Oh, and you don't, Black? You're always shouting that you're gonna beat the Elite 4.
Black: I do it to boost my team's moral!
Skyla: Sorry! I'm just super psyched. School will be out by the time this is uploaded. I can't wait!
May: Sounds fun. What do you have planned for the summer?
Skyla: I'm gonna go to summer school. I know that sounds boring, but my program is a ton of fun! Plus, my birthday is in the summer.
Black: That sounds nice.
White: And that sounds like sarcasm.
Skyla: Don't worry, I'll have plenty of time to work on my stories. There's no way I'm abandoning you guys!
May: Oh boy, her cheesy side is coming out again.
Skyla: Whatever. Go take your places, NOW!!

Ash's POV
We were walking through the city, Skyla, Mark, and Travis leading the way. I had no idea where we were going, but hopefully they had food wherever it was. I'm starving! My stomach growled, agreeing with me.
"Ash, are you hungry again!?" Misty demanded. I nodded meekly. She let out an exasperated sigh, and then a giggle. "Oh, fine. Here," she said, handing me a granola bar. It was the kind with chocolate drizzle, my favorite. "Thanks, Mist!" I said. I reached out a hand to take it then paused. "Are you sure you don't want it?" I questioned. "Sure I'm sure," Misty replied. "I'm not really hungry, anyways."
As soon the words were out of her mouth, her stomach started to grumble. Her cheeks tinged pink. "Sure you're not," I said, rolling my eyes. "Just take it," she snapped, shoving the bar into my hands. I gave her a long look, then tore off the wrapper and broke the bar in half. "Here ya go!" I said, handing her the piece of the bar. "Thanks, I guess," Misty said, accepting her half and nibbling on it. She sped up her pace to catch up with her girlfriends, leaving me in the dust.
Red dropped in next to me, along with Pearl and Gold. "Awww. My little cuz is finally growing up," Red teased. "What are you talking about?" I half-asked, half-complained. "Well, you're finally making a move on that girl of yours, right? Misty what's-her-name," Gold said in surprise. "Whoa, whoa, what?! Mist and I are just friends!" I protested. "That's what you say," Pearl scoffed.
I thought for a moment, then grinned evilly. "Yeah? Then what about you and Yellow, Red, or you and Crys, Gold?" I said. "And what about you and Platinum, Pearl?" The three of them started sputtering and complaining, going red in the face. The three said girls suddenly appeared next to us, concerned looks on their faces.
"What's wrong with you three?" Yellow asked. "Yes, you don't look very well," Platz added. "Come on, you guys better take it easy," Crystal advised. They grabbed the boys' arms and dragged them away. I did a victory fist pump and grinned. Score one for Ash Ketchum!
★★★
Gold's POV
I was super steamed at Ash. But hey, at least I get to be fussed over by SSG! Not that I wanted her to worry, of course. Although it was hard to find a plausible reason on why our faces were the color of tomatoes and we were having a five-minute speech problem. "You sure you're all right?" Crystal asked worriedly. "I'm fine, I'm fine," I sighed.
