"Kris," Neville gasped, "that's a howler."
"A howler?" She gazed upon the red envelope.
"It's from mum and dad," Ginny gasped. "Ask Ron, he's gotten one before."
"Better open it," Lynn sighed, "better to get over with."
Kris was a little worried, she's never gotten a, Howler. Harry put a hand over hers, and gave her a little squeeze and a slight nod. She opened it slowly, until the letter came alive.
"KARINA BOGART! HOW DARE YOU EVEN LAY A FINGER ON A YOUNG GIRL! LEARN TO CONTROL YOUR TEMPER! SNAPE TOLD US EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, AND THAT IS THE LAST THING I WOULD THINK THAT YOU WOULD DO!" Mrs. Weasley bellowed. "WE EXPECT BETTER BEHAVIOR FROM YOU!"
Her voice then softened, "Lynnette my dear, we are so proud that you are a potions expert at a very young age. Professor Slughorn has sent a remarkable report."
The envelope then stuck a ribbon out, it's its tongue, and ripped itself apart.
Kris was wide eyed and speechless. The whole Great Hall went quiet during the yelling.
"Now that that's over," Kris sighed, "I have to go see Snape."
"I thought we were going-"
"I know, but I have to go see him. Harry, please? Just tell me how trials go, later."
"Okay, I love you."
"Love you," Kris smiled as she walked out of the great hall, to Snape's classroom.
She knocked lightly, no answer. She pushed the door open, with a little creak. He wasn't there, which isn't normal. Kris walked towards his desk, and sat in his seat. She tapped her finger tips on the desk repeatedly, she is getting tired to waiting. Something silver caught her attention. She doesn't know what it is, so she decided to poke at it. It made ripples, it was like water. Before she knew it, she was falling into a field.
"What the?" She gazed at her surroundings.
She was still at Hogwarts, but everything didn't look the same. Under a tree, she saw Snape, younger Snape.
"Snape!" She shouted as she ran towards him.
He looked up, but walked right through her. Kris was astonished, she is invisible to him, she isn't in present time. He looks like his is in his fifth year at Hogwarts, he is or may be around 15 or 16.
"Snape there you are!" A female smiled as he walked towards her.
Kris turned around, she saw her mother. Her mother, 16 years old-- probably. Kris remembered that she told off her mother's spirit and said don't go near her. Once Snape and her got close, they kissed. Kris widened her eyes, and her mouth formed an 'o'.
"Oh my god," Kris gasped as she can't believe what she saw.
Snape and her mother, fifth year sweethearts.
"Narcissa!" Someone angrily shouted.
"Thought you left him," Snape sighed as he brushed her cheek with his thumb.
"I did," she gasped as looked back at the man who was approaching them, "I swear, I did."
Kris recognized the flustered man. Orange hair, blue eyes, it's her father.
"What the hell are you doing?" Her father, Darnell growled as he pulled her away.
"Darnell, just leave," Narcissa pulled her wrist out of his grip.
Kris had to do something, but what can she do? The memory then switched, this time, Snape is wandering the halls alone. She walked beside him, he seemed sad. As the two walked, Narcissa passed by them, linking arms with another young man. It was her stepfather, Alan Blunt. The memory switched again, it was Snape and her mother this time, they looked like themselves. But, maybe a few years younger.
