"Logic will get you from A to B, but imagination will get you everywhere" – Albert Einstein
read a note stuck on the wall among thousand other notes. June had a habit of wall note journalling her everyday inspiration and other important thoughts and leads. If there is something that you can find easily when you enter her room , it would be pens and sticky notes of every color that is available. Disorganized wardrobe and organized walls , that was her room . It in someway defined her personality too. If there is a word to describe her , it must be "Abstract". Her room was also home to some instruments , a diversified set of instruments ranging from violin , sarangi , sitar, tambura, piano to an electric guitar. She knew to play some of them although the ignored instruments weren't put to any waste. High Hopes by Kodaline was playing as she got ready to join the rest of the world.
"You wake up, sure of yourself and your responsibility. But the next day no one else has changed. There is no revolution taking place. There are people with notes in their hands and placements on their minds. I get pulled down because I cannot afford to be left behind. If I cannot look after myself, how can I possibly think of looking beyond? It just depresses me how everyone is a cog in the wheel, even the biggest of people in the world. How the wheel cannot go in the desired direction no matter how much everybody understands it is for the good. In a war between good an immediate ,the immediate always wins" grumbled June .
There are two kinds of waiting. One with a definitive end in sight, no matter the time. One without. The latter is a kind of waiting without waiting. Which means to say, you don't know if things will ever change and you don't want to bet on it, but each time you try and close the window, your hands feel like they are broken. You could say June was waiting. Waiting for something to happen. Waiting for her imagination to come alive.
