Zoe's POV

"Alf hold these!" I screeched, thrusting my shopping bags into Alfies hands, "it's Troye."

"Aloha Troye," I said, "one second. Just putting it on loud speaker. I'm with Alfie,"

"Hello Alfie," Troye said.

"Hi," Alfie said.

"You ok?" I asked.

"Yea I'm fine. Just leaving costa with Tyler. Where are you?"

"Um. Where are we Alf? We've just been to a huge shopping mall. Like I can't describe how huge it was. It was huge wasn't it!"

"Yes Zoe. It was huge," Alfie said "and were very close to the apartment actually. We're walking so I'd say about
ten, fifteen minutes away? I've not seen a costa locally? Where abouts are you?"

"Well. We aren't actually nearby. It took around twenty minutes by cab to get here. Just past the big fountains near Walmart."

"Oh yep. We know where you are," I smiled.

"So I guess we'll see you in a half hour?" he said.

"Bye!"

"Bye," he said putting down the phone.

Troyes POV

I put the phone down just as I left the buzzing atmosphere and entered the breezy summer air outside.

I walked forward so I was about a meter from the curb and looked around for Tyler.

"Boo," he called. Jumping out and hugging me from behind.

"Don't even," I laughed, tilting my head back as he out his chin on my shoulder.

He giggled and held me tighter.

"What did Zoella say?" he asked.

"She said they're at a huge shopping mall about twenty minutes away. So I said we'll see them them. Is that ok tilly?" I said. He let go off me and I turned to face him.

"That is fantastic Troye," he smiled.

I looked at him, breathing in the breezy summer air and the smell of the swaying yellow flowers all along the grassy banks. I saw the seagulls fly above our heads and heard then call out for each other, like lost children calling for their parents.

"Stay curious Troye Bolton," he smirked, stepping forward.

I rested my forehead on the top of his and bit my lip.

"Hey," I whispered, putting an arm over his shoulder and placing my hand between his collar bones.

"Hey," he smiled, wrapping his arms around my waist.

I delicately put my other hand on his cheek, so my finger tips were just onto his gorgeous hair.

I started into his eyes, and he stared back. He was perfect. He was everything I wish I was. Perfect. That's the only word going through my mind then.

"You're perfect Tyler. You know that right," I whispered.

I stepped even closer to him, so our chests were properly pushed together.

I leant forward.

Even closer.

And closer.

Until our lips met in a space previously occupied by nothingness.

I felt a buzz, like a power surge through my body.

Like Tyler was just radiating energy. Ab energy my body just couldn't get enough of.

It was perfect.

I felt like the beautiful orange daffodils were coming out for us, swaying in that perfect summers breeze that we don't get enough of back home.

That the elegant blue birds were serenading us, perched high above our heads.

That everything going on right then was for us.

And I smiled.

I smiled into his lips and he smiled back.

And we stood like that.

Bodies pressed together. Foreheads touching. Lips pressed together. About a meter from the curb. Still just our side of costs. On that hot summers day.

A day I couldn't forget even if I tried.

But why would I try.

"I love you Tilly," I said. After what seemed and felt like an eternity.

"I love you more," Tyler whispered, before hailing us a cab.
