This is a pretty tedious chapter but is kinda necessary to the story. It's just a lot of speech really. Any ideas of what you want to happen next?
Troyes POV
"Alfie?" I asked, knocking on the kitchen door.
I heard no response so gently pushed open the door and gasped, opening my mouth wider than anyone had today.
"Grace? Alfie? Um no. What? Nope," I shut the door behind me before speaking, so the others wouldn't hear me shout.
Grace smiled, biting her tongue. Probably still not over the fact she had just kissed Alfie again.
Alfie on the other hand was blushing like crazy and stuttering so bad he couldn't form words in sentences.
"U-u-u-uh T-T-Troye?"
I could see his face so clearly like I could read what he was thinking.
"I'm not going to tell Zoe," I sighed, putting emphasis on not, "not like this Alf. Not not. She deserves more- better."
He looked shocked. As if I would tell. She doesn't need this.
"W-w-w-what?" he asked. He looked at Grace, she had sat down.
"This will ruin you and Zoe and you know that," he nodded.
"I have tables to clean and people to wait on. Call me later if you're interested,"
Grace walked out and shut the door behind her, I reached out and latched it.
"Alf this will end you and Zo,"
He nodded.
"You don't want that. I can tell because I know you," I sighed.
He nodded.
"Or maybe you do. What ever. I'm trying to help but you're not cooperating in the slightest," I said, with clenched teeth. I had so much to hold against him.
"No. Troye no wait. I don't. I love Zoe,"
"So choose. Grace or Zoe,"
"Zoe," he said firmly.
"So why did you kiss her? Why did you do that? You threw away a brilliant girl that des sieves way more than you! The stupid thing is that you know. You know you've been stupid. So what am I supposed to do? Tell her?" I unlocked the door and shut it on Alfie's face.
I walked back to the table, just as Grace did and she took our orders.
I smiled at Zoe. I couldn't tell her. Not until I knew the full story.
I heard the kitchen door once again unlock and I saw Alfie walk out.
"Hi," he smiled, sliding in next to Zoe again.
It made me sick.
