Chapter 7

Kate's P.O.V
We were at the palace again this time they are really building the palace the Prince asked his men to get me a book and chair. Daddy was talking with the Prince so I kept on reading my book,until a servant came to give us a snack,I stopped reading and ate with daddy while he still talks to the Prince.
"Mr.Wonka I want to ask if your daughter was not married at the age of 18 can she marry my nephew who is her age by now.

As I listened to their conversation I noticed them both looking at me and all daddy said was.

"Well Kate would you?"

"No daddy as you said a chocolatier  must run free and solo not have someone hang over you like a old dead goose."

He smiled and the Prince looked at daddy with a look as he motioned him to listen to what he is whispering in his ear

After the chocolate palace was build.

Willy Wonka's P.O.V
We were finished with the chocolate palace but the Prince asked us to come inside.

"It is perfect in every single way."

"Yeah but it won't last long,you better start eating right now."

"Nonsense I will not eat my palace I intend to live in it"

All of a sudden Kate spoke up to him and I stopped her

"But with the heat of the sun and hot climate-" I covered her mouth to make her stop.

"Alright goodbye your Highness"

"Daddy why didn't you tell him that it might melt."
"Kate sometimes people act dumb for no reason so there is no reason for you to warn them, you have to let them learn from their mistakes."

They then went back to the factory.

Kate's P.O.V
I was so tired I think I fell asleep on the plane. I woke up a second and noticed daddy asleep on the chair where I normally read my books and me on my bed.I went down quitely to get the extra blanket under my bed and laid it on him and I gave him a kiss on the cheek and went back to sleep
