MICHAEL

“So, Michael,” the interviewer asks as you watch from backstage, “You have a girlfriend, right?”

“Uh, yeah, I do,” he answers with a smile.

“Well, tell us about her.”

“God, where do I even start,” he sighs, making you and the boys roll your eyes, “She’s just…perfect. She’s smart, funny, kind…”

“She can’t sit still,” Ashton laughs, “Ever.”

“Yeah,” all the boys say, making you laugh. It’s true, you always have to move. It’s a habit you’ve had since you were little.

“So, what’s all this about?” the interviewer asks.

“(Y/N) has this habit of, like, fidgeting,” Michael explains, “If she’s not walking or something like that; she’ll tap her foot or fiddle with her fingers or jewelry. She’s always moving, and I think it’s cute.”

CALUM

“Calum!” you whine, “No!”

“It’s one radio interview,” he explains, “and then we have the whole day together.”

“Fine,” you sigh, and soon enough, you’re sitting outside of the sound booth as Calum starts the interview.

“Okay, now we’re going to do some interesting Twitter questions from fans,” the interviewer smirks as Calum nods, “Here we go! What is one quirk or odd habit of (Y/N)’s?”

]“Um…” Calum trails off nervously as he turns around to look at you through the glass. You smile playfully, giving him an ‘I’m watching you’ signal, and he grins before turning back, “Well, she moved here from America about four years ago…”

“And…?”

“She still has the accent, but the weird part is, she says all these weird phrases. It happens all the time, even around all the other guys, and she always has to explain what she means.”

“What are some of the phrases?” the interviewer asks, confused.

“Like…” Calum says, thinking, “She says ‘go with the flow’ and she always calls me or the guys ‘couch potatoes’.”

“What the heck is a ‘couch potato’?”

“It’s, like,” Calum starts, trying not to laugh, “A really lazy person.”

“I know, it’s so weird, and I-” Calum starts, but stops when you tap on the glass. He looks at you, grinning when he sees your smile and warning look, “Right, sorry babe. She hates when I go on about that.”

ASHTON

“So (Y/N) doesn’t have any weird habits?” you hear Michael ask as all four boys sit in your and Ashton’s living room. You quietly walk to the doorway, listening for Ashton’s answer.

“Okay,” Ashton leans forward, index finger in the air, after a bit of thought, “there is this one thing.”

“And what would that be?” Calum asks.

“Okay, so you know those tin foil chocolate wrappers?” Ashton asks, and all the boys nod. You know where this is going, “Okay, so when she has a chocolate like that, she’s really careful when she takes off the wrapper. Then, when she’s eating the sweet, she flattens out the wrapper. It actually looks really cool, but that’s not the weird part.”

“What is then?” Luke asks in confusion.

“She keeps the wrapper,” Ashton laughs, “She can never bring herself to crumble it up or throw it away. She says it ‘looks-“

“Too pretty to ruin,” you finish for him, making all four boys turn and look at you.

“Oh, hey babe,” Ashton says as you sit by him, “Sorry. How much did you hear?”

“All of it,” you shrug, “I don’t mind though, I’m just happy that’s my only habit you find weird.”

“Sorry to interrupt,” Michael says, “but I have to know. What do you do with the wrappers?”

You laugh as Ashton answers, “She has an old Beats box full of them.”

LUKE

“For Luke,” Ashton reads off of his phone as all four boys sit in front of the laptop for the twitcam, “What is one weird habit of (Y/N)’s?’ Where do you people think of these things…”

“Uh…” Luke says, “I don’t know. What do you define as weird?”

“Weird meaning something others don’t usually do,” Michael says, making Luke nod as he juts his bottom lip out, thinking.

“Oh, I got it!” Luke yells excitedly, “She gets it from hockey, I think. Whenever she gets back from hockey, finishes showering, or is just feeling lazy, she’ll put her hair up. But when she does, it’s always practically on the top of her head.”

All the boys nod in agreement, and as they do, you walk through the front door and into the living room, hockey bag in tow. The boys instantly take in the messy bun on the top of your head, bursting into laughter. You give a grinning Luke a look of question.

“Twitcam,” he says, and you give a nod, tired from your late night hockey practice.

“I don’t even want to know,” you say, dropping your bag and heading to the shower.
