MICHAEL

“(Y/N)!”  your mom yells up the stairs, “Your date is here!”

“Coming!” you scream, dashing down the stairs, nearly colliding with your mom and a smiling Michael, “Hi.”

“Hi,” Michael says before turning back to your mom, “I will take great care of (Y/N), and I will have her home by nine.”

“Sounds great,” your mom says as you and Michael walk out the front door, “Have fun!”

“So,” you start as you and Michael begin to walk down the sidewalk, “where are we headed?”

“I thought it would be fun for us to go to this little diner I found just down the street,” Michael says, sounding a little nervous, “That okay?”

“Yeah, that sounds great,” you say, and the two fall into a comfortable silence until you reach a small diner, literally four blocks from your house. Michael opens the door from you, and you send him a thankful smile before walking up to the counter.

“What can I get you?” asks the young girl behind the counter. You and Michael quickly order before heading to a small booth in the back corner of the diner.  The rest of your night is filled with laughter, good food, and the two of you getting to know each other.

“That was fun,” Michael says as you two walk back to your house.

“It was,” you say with a smile, and you two arrive at your doorstep.

“So,” Michael says as you go to open the door, “A second date? Saturday at six?”

“That would be lovely,” you say before kissing his cheek and stepping into your house, “See you Saturday, Michael.”

CALUM:

“Where are we going?” you laugh as Calum drags you down the sidewalk by the hand.

“To the park,” he answers, and before you know it, you find yourself on the top of a large hill in the middle of the park.

“Why are we in the middle of the park on a Sunday afternoon?” you say to Calum when he finally releases your wrist.

“For our first date!” he yells happily, “Come on!”

With that, Calum takes off running down the hill and straight for a tree. You dart after him, only catching up when he begins to scale the tree.  You laugh at his childishness before climbing up after him. Once you both reach the top, he plops down on a thick branch and you quickly follow suit.

“So,” Calum says, both of you watching the people in the park from the top of the tree, “Tell me about yourself.”

“Hmm…” you say, thinking of what to say. For the next two hours, the two of you sit in the tree, telling each other every little of your lives that you can think of. You share stories, jokes, hobbies, everything. The whole time you are either laughing or interrogating one another. Sadly, the time you’re expected home rolls around, so both you and Calum hop down from the tree.

“That was the most interesting first date I’ve ever had,” you tell Calum as you two head towards your house.

“Me too,” Calum laughs, “A good interesting, I hope. Maybe good enough for a second date?”

“Definitely.”

ASHTON:

“Oh, my God,” you say, laughing along with Ashton as the two of you look at the photos from your ride of the roller coaster.

“Look at this one,” Ashton chuckles, pointing to a particularly humorous photo of the two of you. After both of you both buy a copy of one of the photos, you decide to head over to the carnival games.

You two just mess around on a few games, Ashton dominating every single one of them, until one game catches your eye. Or, to be more specific, one of its prizes caught your eye.

“Holy crap,” you say, getting Ashton’s attention and pointing at said booth, “That bear is probably bigger than I am!”

“Well, come on,” Ashton grins, grabbing your hand, “let’s go see if we can win it.”

You can only smile, rolling your eyes as he tugs you over to the impossible-to-win game. You watch curiously as Ashton hands the man money, receiving three baseballs in return.

“Just knock over three stacks of bottles to win,” the man running the stand says. Ashton only nods, quickly beating the game and turning to look at you with a happy grin.

“How are you so good at these games?” you ask with a small laugh. Ashton only shrugs and grins in response.

“What prize do you want?” the man asks Ashton.

“The large bear, please,” Ashton tells the man, and as soon as he’s given the bear, he turns to look at you, “For the pretty lady.”

You giggle when he hands you the bear, both of you laughing when you struggle to hold onto it due to its size.

“To always remember today,” Ashton smiles down at you, “Our first date of many.”

LUKE

“I thought you said we were going to the movies,” you say in confusion as Luke continues to drive down what seems to be an endless street.

“We are,” Luke says with a small smile, “Patience.”

“Okay, okay,” you laugh, holding your hands up in defense before settling back into you seat to sit out the car ride. Soon enough, you pull up to what looks like a tiny little drive-in movie theatre. You’d only been to one before when you were young, because your parents had taken you and your siblings.

“Come one,” Luke grins, grabbing a few blankets out of the backseat before climbing out of the car. You raise your eyebrows, unbuckling your seatbelt and sliding out of the car after Luke. You quickly catch up to him, silently following him over to an area near the front, away from all the parked cars.

“I didn’t have a good car to watch from,” Luke laughs as he lays one of the blankets out on the ground, “So; I figured this would work…?”

“This is fine, Luke,” you laugh before the two of you settle on the blanket, awkwardly sitting a bit away from each other as the movie starts. Only a few scenes in, the temperature outside begins to drop and you find yourself pulling your thin jacket tighter around yourself. You hear Luke chuckle lightly from beside you before his arm wraps around your waist and he throws a blanket around both of your twos shoulders.

“Cold?” he asks with a small laugh and a cute smile to go with it. You return the smile quickly.

“Tad bit,” you laugh, tucking yourself closer into Luke’s side, enjoying the warmth. After the movie ends, the two of you continue to lay on the blanket, waiting for everyone else to clear out before you leave.

“Good first date?” Luke asks as the two of you lay on your backs, starring up at the dark sky, hands intertwined between the two of you.

“Very good,” you nod, “Very creative idea for a date, too.”

“Thanks,” he chuckles, “Good enough for a second date?”

“I think so,” you laugh.

“Good,” Luke sighs in relief as the two of you enjoy the silence of the night around you.
