->Chapter 8: Christmas Eve with EXO Part 2<-

Baekhyun's POV:

She talks and laughs along with Sehun and Chanyeol.  Her smile is heart melting. I don't think I've ever seen her smile like this before. It seems like a flower is blossoming, beckoning "bees" to go rage over her. I would be lying if I say I don't want her to say yes tonight, on Christmas Eve's night.   But what makes me think she won't say no?   

"Baekhyun?" 

I look up,and there she is, standing right in front of me, with a brilliant smile smeared on her face, shining like   the golden sun.   

"Hey"  

"Can I talk to you privately?"  

"Uh..sure."  

We walk towards the back of the clock building secretly, not wanting to make a big scene. My heartbeat seems to be in a car race. Is she going to tell me now? Just right before midnight.   

" So what do you want to talk about?"  

" You know how you asked me about.."  

"Yeah."  

"I...I have decided."  

Luhan's POV:  

That's it. I run away, bashing all my positive thoughts away. After hearing she has made a decision, I know what she's going to say. I don't need to hear it myself, to destroy my bleeding heart. She's saying yes under the moonlight, right before midnight. I walk towards the other side of the tower, and sits on the freezing ground.   I shouldn't be surprised. She told me she has someone in her heart. What do I expect?  Her to run towards me and say the one in her heart has always been me? Yeah, only in my dreams.    The frustrating thoughts explodes. I simply cannot stop tears, rolling down my cheeks. Lex is Baekhyun's. Not mine. She'll never be mine. I give up. I can't controll my tears .  

I hear light footsteps, coming towards me. Before I can react, a soft voice questions. 

 "Luhan? What are you doing?"  

Gulp.   

The body steps out of the dark. Her cheeks so red, like cherry tomatoes.  

" Oh my Luhan! Why are you crying? You okay??"  

She approaches me, as she leans in close. I can't stand seeing her face. It's too luring, too beautiful.   

" What are you doing here? Go away!"  

" What? I saw you crying and..."  

"You have your Baekhyun, why would you care about me?"  

"My Baekhyun? What are you talking about.."  

"I heard you two talking! I know he asked you out earlier and you were giving him an answer just now and you said yes!"

 My words came up harsher then I thought. Her eyes look horrified and surprised, as she sways her head in disbelief.   "YES he did ask me to be his girlfriend!"  

"Then why are you here!"    " It's because I said no!"   Everything stops. My eyes stare at her, not moving at all. She sighs and culps her hand on my cheeks.

  "I... I had to! Cause I like you! I love you LUHAN! I explained to him and came looking for you straight away!"  

No response seems to be able to come out of my lips. After moments of silence, I take her hand. " Is it true?"  

"Yes. I"ve never been so sure."   I grab her and hug her as tightly as ever, not wanting to let her go.  

"I..I love you too...ever since I met you at the MAMA awards, I fell for you! Lex, I just fell for you completely!"   Tears roll down her cheeks. She smiles faintly in disbelief.   

" Lexie... will you be my girlfriend?"  

" Yes! Oh yes Luhan."   The clock strikes 12, as it wakes the whole city.   

"You wanna go?"  

" How about the others?"  

"I'll explain at the dorm, don't worry."  

Lex happily takes my hand, as we run off, catching a taxi. This is like a dream.  

She said yes at christmas eve, midnight.
