Lex's POV:

What should I say? I confessed everything. As in legit everything. One thing I learnt, never tell your friends you're dating a celebrity in public. 

"I'm dating Luhan." 

"You..."

"Daebak..."

"Shit.."

" What did she just say..."

" OMG HOW DID IT HAPPEN?"

"SINCE WHEN?"

"AYE YOU SNEAKY GIRL, SHOULD HAVE TOLD US EARLIER!"

Not exactly the reaction I was looking for, but I guess it's definitey not normal to date your idol. I took a deep breathe, and explained the whole thing from the start. Once I finished, Matt's eyes were covered with trails of tears. He grabbed a tissue and snobbed into it. 

"My my my... I'm so glad it's not my Tao..."

"Oh boo all you care about is your Tao.", Jess joked. 

"OMG DOES THAT MEAN YOU CAN ASK LUHAN TO HELP ME TO GET CLOSE TO TAO AND THEN..."

"Just let him keep on going."

"Haha...so Jess... what do you think?"

"Me?"

"Who else? Defnitely not that blabber over there."

"Well to be honest, I'm really happy for you and stuff, but you sure it's the right decision? You know there are lots of crazy fans out there would like to kill you now.."

"Well we promised it'll be a secret for now."

"For how long? They're going to find out sooner or later. You can't go on dates in public, you can't see each other in public. What's the use of dating then?"

Jess sounded angry, but deep down I knew she was concerned. 

The memory makes me smile, from the bottom of my heart. I stare out the open window in my bedroom. Snow ascends in slow motion. The winter night seems so silent, as a sudden breeze slowly creeps out on me. 

"You know you'll catch a cold."

I whip around, finding my big old brother standing in the doorway with his arms crossed accross his chest.  He hurrily walks accross to close the window and turns the heater on high.

"Geez really, what were you thinking. You were staring out towards the opened window without shivering."

"I uh.. was just thinking."

"What?"

I can't let him know about Luhan. Just not yet. I made Matt and Jess promise to keep it a secret. Although this is my brother we're talking about, I just don't know what kind of reaction he'll give. After all, he's my brother. 

"Uh..uh.. I was thinking about when Mom and Dad are gonna be back."

"Suureee."

"How's Jannette? Why did you return so quickly from your date trip to London?" 

"Well I was worried, after all you're left all alone at home."

"I'm 17! I'm gonna turn 18 in like two months."

"Yeah and you're gonna finish your exam finals in a few months and graduate. Sigh you're growing up too quickly monkey."

"Hey! I ain't no monkey! Besides, you sure Jennette doesn't mind?"
