Life behind the Stage with EXO

->Chapter 7: You can never be mine<-

Lexs POV:

Christmas, two days ahead.

It has always been my favorite time of the year. The Christmas shopping and songs lingering in shopping malls...not to mention the pretty red cups that Starbucks gives out when you order. 

I have this obsession over christmas, as you can see.

Everyone's in a holiday mood. Listening in class is a big no-no for everyone. As Ms McMiller continues on chemistry class, I look around and scan the classroom with my laser eyes.

Baekyun and Luhan are acting odd. Luhan would usually sit next to me in chemistry and Baekhyun would usually do pranks or crack joke about me. They just  don't seem to be themselves lately, at all. The rest of EXO are still the same, playful like little kids. Chanyeol is sitting next to me with gum in his mouth. I bit my lips while spinning my pen. Not being able to control myself, I whisper to him.

" What's wrong with Luhan and Baekhyun?" 

"They're..uh.."

"Chanyeol... is there something wrong..."

Before I can finish my sentence, Kris buggs in.

"They're just tired.They stayed up all night talking about how hot Harry Styles look with his messy hair."

"Yeah! I was going to say that!"

"Harry Styles? You serious? Wow they must have had an intense conversation...", I studder.

Of course I didn't believe Kris. Obviously something was up. 

The bell rings as soon as Ms McMiller finishes the equation. Everyone scurry out of the classroom, talking about holiday plans. 

"Remember, assignments are handed in on the first day back after the winter break. Have a safe holiday!"

Shit. I wasn't listening in class at all. My whole mind was just concentrated on Baekhyun and Luhan, nothing else.

The winter breeze wakes me up from my deep thoughts. It's cold but I love it. Winter is my best friend. 

I laugh at myself for having stupid thoughts. Before my thoughts stretch out even further, my legs automatically found Luhan by standing right in front of him. He stares at me and chuckles under his breath. The wind blew by as his minty breathe washes over my face. 

"You've been standing there since forever."

"Oh I..  I uh wanted to ask you if you wanna grab something at the cafe before you head off to your scheduele?"

"Um..sure.."

"LEX!"

Baekhyun slides towards me, standing in between Luhan and I.

"So um can I talk to you for a sec? You wanna go to the cafe?"

"Oh but Luhan..."

"Doesn't matter Lex.", he waves me off. 

I try to stop him but Baekhyun stands in front of me, blocking my way.

"Let's go?"

"Yeah sure.."

Luhans back's facing towards me. A dark cloud seems to be covering his body from top, to bottom.  My heart flutters. I feel abandoned, like a lost puppy. Darting back and forth as my emotions rain over me.  I don't want Baekhyun to be concerned, so I take a deep breath and walk out of the classroom with girls hovering at the exit. They must be desperate to see their gods one last time before the long painful winter breaks without them.
