Chapter 3
"Well, aren't you going to order for us?" Tracy eyed Carter as they sat down on table 9 in the little coffee shop.
"Nahh, I believe in the modern day rights of women and I think they are perfectly capable of ordering food themselves."
"Wow! The nerve this guy has!" Tracy thought. Two could play his little game.
"You're such a romantic." Tracy said rather mockingly.
"I tend to hate that word."
Oh? This was news.
"And why is that?" Tracy was curious.
"Well I believe there is no such thing as a 'romantic'. I mean the whole flowers and rings. All just loads of bullshit." Carter said while using his index finger to rub against his lips.
It was very distracting especially when he had such pretty lips.
"Well I believe you are totally wrong. Just because you aren't capable of love doesn't mean there is no such thing. Love is for those who deserve it."
"Whoa, and she thinks she deserves love? This girl is crazy." Carter thought, but he played along anyways.
"I see your point, but we all bave different perspectives on things --"
Carter was about to rant on when he noticed a very attractive waitress standing across them waiting for them to finish talking.
"Well hello there beautiful." Carter said with all his charm included.
"Hi." The waitress said with a very flirtatious tone.
And Tracy thought of a brilliant idea.
"Are you serious right now?!" Tracy screamed.
The other two looked at her as if she was crazy.
Their confused looks encouraged her to continue with her plan.
"I can't believe you right now babe! We were just in a middle of a fight and you flirt with a waitress infront of me!"
"What the-" Carter was about to say something but the waitress, who's name tag says Lucy cut him off.
"I'm so sorry maam. I didn't know you two were romantically involved. I'm so sorry." She looked really nervous.
"It's ok. He does this everytime we're around girls." Tracy started fake-sobbing which was pretty believable since Lucy gave Carter a wicked glare before she apologized and walked away.
"What the hell was that for?" Carter was mad.
"Well, we're friends right? I don't like my friends carelessly flirting with any one. Girl or guy." Tracy said with a seductive tone.
Carter caught up to her in a second. Her eyes gave eveything away. He was gonna win at her game.
"Oh baby!"
And before she could respond, he picked her up with an admirable ease and pressed her against him hard.
"That's so sweet of you." He said seducingly.
And before she could protest, he kissed her. His toungue travelled everywhere. Leaving no room for air to breathe.
And to her surprise, she kissed him back. Letting her fingers run through his hair and giving him the room for his toungue to explore.
She hadn't realise her eyes were closed and when she opened them, he was staring at her. The feelings were evident.
But in a flash, they were gone. He turned his face away and when he looked back, there was nothing.
"So it seems my test work, you do like me."
Tracy was dumbfounded. "This was all a test to him." She thought.
This was not a part of her plan at all. She didn't expect him to kiss her. He plays good.
Well, she was going to step up her game.
She moved closer to him and lifted herself up a bit so that her breast could touch his chest.
And she was rewarded when she saw the look of wanting in his eyes.
"I'll see you later at work friend." She whispered to him and then walked away with her imaginary medal because she knew she had won.
There might have been some bumps here and there but she had won this round.
Carter was staring at her lean back as she was walking away. She was very atteactive.
"She's playing with my head." He mused. "Well, she's not going to play with my heart."
And with that, he left the bill on the table with a huge tip for Lucy and walked out of the coffee shop.
"This is going to be fun." He thought with a smile as he closed the door behind him.
