The Repentance of HUDAH

I am a student in university,  and I was so fond of watching TV shows, I never left it for even a moment... I was so obsessed with watching series and any E! program,  I never miss the release of an Album, that got me to subscribed on iTunes.I used to be alerted every single day when a new song or a music video is released.

if a program is related to a cultural or religious I would quickly turn off the TV, my sister always asked me: why did you always do that?! I could reply  her cynically pretending to have a lot of presentations  and chores, so she says to me: Now you remember your duties?! Where were you when you watched all those tv shows , songs and frivolous programs?! I would not answer her.

My sister is completely my opposite... Since our mother taught Us how to pray she did not miss a Salat except for an excuse (menses), as for me, I do not preserve prayers; I perform them only once or twice a day.

As for my sister, she only watches some tv programs once in a while, she avoided watching Programs as much as possible and she kept the company of righteous friends aiding her into doing good deeds, she was so righteous .

My sister's always reminded me of Allah (s.w.t) and also preached me, but I only got more and more arrogant/ stubborn, however the hours I spent sitting in front of my Laptop / scrolling through my phone increased day after day, and television diversifies in showing all kinds of improper tv shows and shameless songs, which I did not realised their effect on me. Until the day that Allah (s.w.t) guided me through the righteous path, all praises and thanks be to him my Creator.
