The Sailor
In the lands of far there was once a brave sailor
This land made of sailors, maidens and mermaids
Was a place as treacherous as Dante’s nine sins
A land with no law no loyalty
Fears were none but Poseidon
The mighty god of sea, one on whose name everything from a deck hand to the mightiest of ships trembled
So was the life in the lands of far east.
Our brave sailor was like no one else
They said he was the one cut out of cloth of heroes
He was the one they looked to
In the ale house near the docks or at sea, his legend reached before him
Our brave soldier as everyone said in whispers had conquered half the sea
He wrecked havocs and mocked the Poseidon everyday
His guardian angel that no one knew always looked over him.
In search of a conquest greatest of all and to meet his angel he left
He took a journey so perilous that it was deemed as myth by one and all
He took to sea and conquered it all one by one
For now sailor was in stature as big as Poseidon
