On a moonlit sky near the end of the mythic conquest

Sitting on that rock sat oh so beautiful mermaid

When sailor looked at her he was shaken, as if something inside him started to beat again

He wasn’t a fool to mock Poseidon   or conquer it all

It was his lost love that left him so dead that no reason seemed good to just live

It was absence of love or fear that made him legend

But today standing on his ship the Eternal Voyager

He looked at her and knew this is wrong for the ghost of past aren’t gone

But when thy heart talks every other thing seems mirage

He went to the mermaid looked at her

When she looked back they both knew it was different

Like sea wind running through your hair

Like waves hitting the shore like the shells making their own music

It was all beautiful for a whole cycle of moon

He was a man with grin and no sight of doom

Never is the fortune fortunate for the ones cursed forever

She hung the rope for him to climb out, a rope of love and happiness

Then with swing of her dagger like to the heart she cut the rope afar

Left him to be drowned alone in his sorrow

He swept in waves of his own misery

A love lost and hopes smashed to the shore

He cried out loud to the raging sea

Why he asked come and tell me

See me once and say what I cannot fathom

For our love was pure and now I lay here without a cure

Days went by like waves and nights were silent like the stars above

He never left from there and then she had to come ashore

He asked only one question – Why?

And she replied with frosty eyes

I am Poseidon’s wife!
