My Dream...

I woke up in a church....in my point of view, it wasn't very big. Quite small in fact.

The walls were a pale beige colour along with the dark oak furnishings.

The sun poured in through a large window and it created a dramatic shadow of a man standing ahead of me.

His face was covered with a cloth and he held the appearance of an old Victorian noble.

He stood, immobile.

I tried to take a step forward but noticed the abundance of chains that wrapped around my entire body, restricting my movements.

Underneath the chains, I could barely make out a pure white dress that was on me.

I glanced at my hands and noticed they were clothed with white gloves and endless amounts of bracelets.

The man looked at me with disgust in his eyes and began speaking.

"MURDERER" he boomed.

The sound made me wince at how loud he was.

Soon, I noticed men and woman, all clothed like the man before, surrounding me and chanting. They each muttered different words.

"Killer!" One of them spat.
"Scum!" Another taunted.
"Murderer!" I heard another shriek.

Many other comments were said as they slowly began approaching me. I covered my ears and whimpered at their comments.

"It was true though!" I whispered to myself. Every single comment was true and I couldn't face the facts.

Just then, they all let out an ear piercing shriek and lunged for me.

As they all tackled me, my surrounding began to melt and succumb to flames.

My surroundings were plunged into darkness and all I heard was the screams of every single person I watched die.

Every single person who died by my hand.

And then an image filled my vision.

I was a little girl, my dad on the ground unconscious, my mother who was busy choking on her own blood, my sisters small burnt body and me...my clothes stained a deep crimson as three men's bodies littered the ground.

I saw my younger self fall to her knees and grip at her hair.

She began giggling softly at first, and then it grew louder until her laughter drowned out the sound of the flames.

I looked in horror and the monster I had become on that night.

I looked down at my hands and noticed they were stained with blood.

I screamed as tears filled my eyes and blurred my vision.

I began tugging my hair again,"Make it stop!" I shrieked.

...and then...it did...

I woke up on the pavement.

My gaze immediately met with familiar pale blue eyes.

His blonde hair fell to his sides as he shook me frantically.

"It was all a dream" I thought.

"My trésor, are you alright!?" Nicolas asked frantically.

My face was more pale then usual as I gave a weak nod.

He smiled widely and hugged me tightly.

I sat immobile until reality hit me.

"HEY LET ME GO"

"OWIE! My trésor can be so threatening at times..."

The next day...
I hadn't told anyone about my dream and it was beginning to tear me apart inside.

"I'M SO GLAD YOU OK! NICOLAS TELL ME WHAT HAPPEN!" Seraphina shrieked in broken English.

I chuckled at her reaction.

"I'm all good, Sera." I flatly answered.

She pouted and thought for a moment.

"LET US HAVE GIRL DAY OUT!" She shrieked and before I could protest, she grabbed my wrist and bound down the stairs and out the door.

She screamed a farewell to a, very confused looking, Nicolas.

She shoved me into the drivers seat and hopped into the seat next to me.

I giggled at her antics and saw no reason in arguing.

We stopped at a café and sat outside the small building.

The morning air filled my lungs as the waitress approached us.

"And what will you be having?" The waitress asked politely.

"I will have strawberry pancakes." Said Seraphina cheerfully.

The waitress nodded and scribbled the order down on her notepad before gesturing for me to order.

I shook my head, signaling that I didn't want anything.

She nodded and left the table.

"Why you have no food?" Seraphina questioned.

"I'm not hungry." I mumbled and looked around the café. Making sure nothing was out of place.

After a while of small chat, her food had arrived.

I have to admit, the pancakes looked heavenly. Strawberry pancakes were my favorite, with its soft, steaming goodness and the sweet syrup drizzled delactly on top.

"You want some?" Seraphina asked.

"I'm not hungry." I stated blandly.

She pouted in response and began eating.

I was determined to stand by my statement but my body had different plans as a loud grumble escape my stomach.

Seraphina gave me a knowing look and my cheeks flared red.

She giggled and cut a piece off.

I eyed it as she held it out to me.

"I said I'm-" I was cut off by here stuffing the fork in my mouth and the sweet pancakey goodness entering my tastebuds.

My cheeks flared a deeper shade of red as she gave me a satisfied grin.

"Mwhatever." I said through a mouth full of food

After that, Seraphina asked if we could visit the nearby boutiques.

I rolled my eyes as I realized this was gonna be a repeat of last time.

For the past 6 hours, Seraphina had scoured the city for all its shops and boutiques. She tried on endless amounts of clothing and always asked for my approval.

We eventually entered my car and breathed a sigh of relief.

"That was fun!" She giggled as I nodded my head in response.

We made our way to the Cheuntrieul mansion and Seraphina asked the Butler to help her with the bags. To which he blushed a deep crimson and obliged.

Nicolas had requested for me to meet him in the music room. I immediately made my way there.

He was playing random notes on the piano and seemed to be deep in thought.

I cleared my throat in order to catch his attention. He smiled and gestured for me to sit next to him.

"Valentine I would really appreciate it if you-..." he trailed off.

"You-" He was having trouble with his words. He took a deep breathe and closed his eyes.

"I would really love it if you- would....join for a song!" He finished quickly.

I couldn't help but notice a look of disappointment. I couldn't help but feel as if that wasn't what he wanted to ask, but I quickly shrugged it off and nodded my head.

"Of course..."
