One month after Ball....
There I sat......

I sat in a small gray room....with a small gray chair....in nothing but gray rags that were supposed to be clothes.

For the past few weeks, Lorenzo had done everything in his power to try and break me...mentally and physically.

Old, dried up blood crusted my clothes and hair.

I don't even remember the last time I'd see the sunlight.

I sat....looking into the pits of nothingness as the heavy metal door swung open.

"You really are stubborn." Lorenzo said with irritation laced in his voice.

"Hey, it's one of my best features." I teased with a weak smirk.

He strode closer to me,"After all this and you still have a sense of humor. Well, I suppose it can't be beaten out of you then." He spat as he yanked my chin and forced me to look at him.

"Though I guess I do admire you in those aspects. Strong-willed." He mused.

"And I admire you in certain aspects too. After beating me endlessly, I still think I could beat you in a fight." I spat in his face.

He face contorted into one of anger as he struck me across the face.

I stumbled out of my chair and crouched on my knees.

"How about we go on a little trip." He said as he yanked me by the hair and dragged me out of the room.

I didn't bother fighting back.

We had ended up in a garden of some sort as he let go of me and let me fall to the ground.

I didn't look up until I heard an all too familiar voice.

"B-big sister?!" Dante called out to me.

My eyes widened as I saw my younger sibling being held by the neck. My eyes flashed to the person who was holding Danté, it was DeLuca.

I thrashed in anger as I tried to reach the younger individual.

"Ah ah ah, I don't think so..." DeLuca warned as his grip on Dantés neck tightened, causing him to start gagging.

I trembled as I saw Danté gasping for breathe.

"Please don't! I-I'll do anything!" I shrieked as Dantés face gradually started turning a deep shade of purple.

"Oh really? I thought you would rather die?" Lorenzo teased.

Tears threatened to escape as I violently thrashed about.

Danté became limp as Lorenzo bent down on one knee and held out a ring.

I swallowed my pride and nodded.

Lorenzo rose to his feet and clapped his hands joyously.

"Right! We should start making preparations immediately." He mused as he snapped his fingers and DeLuca let go of Danté.

I rushed to his side as I felt his tiny body trembling in my hands.

I could already see the purple marks that were forming around his neck.

Tears streamed down my face as I held him closer.

My mind became hazy with emotions as I trembled I  fear and anger.

"You-YOU MONSTERS." I silently sobbed into Dantés chest

All I hear was a sadistic chuckle in response.
