Drunk

[Green's POV]

People don't talk to a 'silent, dead person'.... Right?" he whispered, letting me go and returning back to the party.

My hands started trembling, and I felt something sharp hit my chest. Red isn't wrong, I did say some pretty messed up things but I apologized!

Damnit! Fine! I'll just enjoy the party without Red! Screw him!

I angrily walked back to the kitchen and found N holding two drinks on his hand "Oh! Good evening, Green... would you like something to drink?" he asked me in a polite manner.

I didn't respond from my frustrated state, I suddenly took one of his glass and quickly drank the juice in one go.

"Green!? What's wrong?" N asked, with a worried tone.

The drink I had suddenly made me feel more relaxed than usual "I just feel thirsty, give me more of that!" I aggressively said, and snatched the second glass from N's hand.

N shouted "GREEN! STOP! No more drinking!!" he attempted to take the glass out of my reach but, I resisted.

"N? What's going on?" a guy I didn't know walked in, he had brunette hair, blue/white jacket with a black/red cap.

N whined "S-sorry, Touya! I got our drinks but, Green started drinking it all" I roughly took back the drinks and swallow it down in one go.

"Are you okay, Green?" Touya asked.

I felt a bit sluggish and said "N-Nothin'!.... Damn, Red.... Why did you have to go?! You brat!" I hit the table and took another sip.

Touya looked confused "What did Red do to make you this upset?" he asked with concern, setting a chair next to me awaiting for my story.

[Red's POV]

I walked back to my spot where I was socializing with my new 'friends.' Although, I'm not sure I can give them my trust yet.

Yellow rushed over to me "Hey, Red!" she shouted, waving at me.

"Hey..."

Yellow tilted her head "Are you okay? You look pretty upset, did something happen between you and Green?" she asked.

I averted my eyes from her "Why would you think that?" I asked back, clenching my fist.

Yellow shrugged "You just seemed a bit more cold than before so I thought maybe you had a fight with Green..." she nervously smiled at me.

I sat against a chair nearby "Green and I... We... May have bickered a bit..." I sighed.

"Oh... I'm sorry, Red... I know how much you care about Green. I'm sure, he'll come around" Yellow patted my back, reassuring me.

I nodded "I guess... I just wonder what Green thinks of me..."

Yellow jolted "What do you mean by that?" she said, curiously.

I replied with a sigh "Am I Green's rival.... Or friend...?" I finally asked aloud.

Yellow paused a bit then, she gave me a gentle smile "Red... The important question is... 'What do you think of Green?'" she giggled.

My eyes widen from the question, I couldn't answer that. Sure, at first Green accepted my offer of being my fake lover but, does that really tell me what I think of him?

"I don't know..." I sighed deeply.

Yellow nudged me "Hey... Don't act like you don't know yet..." she smirked.

I flinched "What do you mean?" I asked, then Yellow grew close against my ear "You like Green, don'cha?" she asked in a raspy voice.

I pulled away from Yellow and watched as her face grew close to me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

Yellow started giggling "Red... Wh....When... Did you ge... Sooooo tallll??" she asked, losing her balance and grab onto my jacket.

I helped Yellow to a nearby chair and asked "Yellow, did you drink something?"

Yellow stared at me and laughed again "Hell yeah! I got thirsty....anda.... Gold said he had drinks i-in the... Kitchen!" she said, looking feverish.

Damnit, Gold! Why !?

I patted her in the back "Okay, don't worry I'll get you some water" I rushed over to the kitchen and flinched as I saw Green hanging out with two mysterious people I don't know.

I stood behind the door and peeked through a bit.

The brown haired boy said "Green, you can't be drinking the pain away... If you want Red to understand then, tell him!" he yelled.

The long green hair nodded "Yes, communication is the key to a good relationship!" he said with enthusiasm.

Did Green tell them we're a couple? Is that against the rules?

I listened in and heard Green's voice "H-How.... How can I tell him, damnit!?" he sobbed.

Green's crying...?

"It's so hard... To get the message across to him... I thought... 'Hey! Maybe pretending to be in a fake relationship can bring us together?' but, noooo! Instead I'm already losing Red like I lost him when he went alone to live in the mountains... R-Red didn't even tell me... He just...." Green didn't continued and instead teared up again. Listening to Green, how he truly felt... He doesn't hate me... But maybe he thinks I hate him...

I crouched down and felt terrible for what I said earlier to him. I know the words he said about me weren't true but, I threw my anger at him anyway.

That's it! I'm going to face Green like I should have...

I got up and entered the kitchen room, where the two mysterious people stood there staring at me.

The brunette asked "Who are you? Were you eavesdropping?" the boy glared at me as if I'm an intruder.

The tall one panicked "Touya... Maybe we should focus on Green's problem, we should find Red to take him home" he said with a serious tone.

Green... I'm sorry.... I-!

"R-Red..." I flinched as I heard my name being called out by Green, who was surrounded by alcohol.

"You came back to meeehhh!" I rushed over Green who wobbled as he tried to walk to me.

"G-Green?!" I felt worried about how hard Green's been pushing himself.

Touya patted my back "I think you should take him home Red, Green needs a friend right now and it has to be you" he pointed at me and turned to his tall friend "right, N?" he looked up at him.

N smiled "Red this is Touya and my name is N... If you have any problems we can help, Green is our friend too" the two of them nodded at each other.

I stared at them with awe and nodded my head, then I remembered "Touya, a girl named Yellow is drunk with whatever Green dranked can you get her some water. I promised I would but, I have to take care of Green" I pointed out, watching Green's red feverish face spread around him.

Touya gave me a thumbs up "Don't worry, we'll take care of that" N sighed "Honestly, why did Gold think bringing drinks was a good idea?" Touya laughed "This is a reunion party!" he said, grabbing a bottle of water and exiting the kitchen with N.

I pulled Green behind me and carried him out of the house without being noticed. Everyone seems to be having fun without a care, except me and Green didn't really enjoy ourselves.

A car pulled up in front of us and he got out with a panicked look "Red?! Is that you?!" I widen my eyes to the surprised guest.

"Professor Oak!?"
