"Arian wait!" He didn't wait. He heard his mother scream after him as he ran out the weathered and beaten down door, opening it up to the smell of weed and strong odour of alcohol. Leaving behind his mother clenching onto her face, covered with multitude of hues.

He ran until his feet began to ache, until his body forced him to stop. The rain hitting him like multiple bullets shooting through the sky. There he was, Arian, standing just steps away from the infamous bridge of suicide. Where people throw themselves into the unknown. Where he spotted a silhouette sat on the cold railings of the bridge, swinging their legs as if they were sat on a ride at a theme park, awaiting for it to take of.

He never forgot the time, nor the place. He continued going to the same exact spot finding the exact same silhouette. Except now, the silhouette had an identity, the weather had cleared and so had his vision. Her clothes looked new, her long jet black hair groomed to perfection.

She never did turn, Arian never did get to see her face. Her eyes fixated to the water beneath her, lost in the rhythmic percussion of the waves.

One day he had decided to get there earlier than the silhouette. Maybe he will finally get a glance of her face. He had raked through his mind for all the possibilities of who she was, of how she looked. Whether she had blue eyes or brown, whether her hair really was black or whether it was the night sky fooling his naked eyes.

He got there at exactly 8:34pm, dressed in his typical black jeans and black top that matched his jetty black hair that was short on the sides yet furry and long at the top. His basil eyes roaming around searching for her. Once realising she wasn't there, he began taking steps towards the railing. His thighs freezing as he sat, his legs 746 feet away from the water that was drowned in sorrow.

He had one thought on his mind as he sat here.

He wondered if she felt the same sitting here,

Peace.
