DateBokuto x Reader

Bokuto, Kuroo, Akaashi, Kenma, and Tsukishima were all sitting in Kuroo's room on their phones.

Bling!

"Hey, hey, hey!" Bokuto shouted with his phone in his fist.

"What is it?" Akaashi asked him.

"I just scored a date with _______-chan! We're going out later tonight!" Bokuto cheered.

"No way!" Kuroo said, leaning in, checking the phone screen.

"So... is he lying?" Tsukishima asked.

"Is he?" Kenma chimed in.

"Hey! Why would I lie about that?" Bokuto asked.

"Because your ego, pride, self esteem..." Akaashi started.

"He's telling the truth!" Kuroo exclaimed.

"Tch." Tsukishima clicked his tongue as he and Kenma gave Akaashi and Kuroo their money.

"You guys were betting against me? I'm hurt!" Bokuto said, holding his hand over his heart.

"Stop being so dramatic. Half of us bet for you." Akaashi said.

"And we may or may not have talked to _______." Kuroo said.

"Hey! That's against the rules or something, isn't it?" Tsukishima asked looking at Kenma.

But before Kenma could decide whether or not that was fair, Bokuto stormed off into Kuroo's bathroom and shut the door.

"I'll go after him." Akaashi sighed.

Akaashi knocked on the bathroom door.

"Hey, hey, hey. I heard you got a hot date with _______-san." Akaashi said in a monotone voice.

The little owl behind the door said nothing.

"Oya? Did you get it because you're the best wing spiker in the world?" Akaashi tried.

Again, nothing.

Akaashi went back to the room and got Kuroo.

"So, you got a date with ________. You know, I tried asking her out, but she rejected me. She must have strong feelings for you." Kuroo egged.

A stirring.

"I think she said she only dates talented players." Kuroo lied.

A slight shuffle.

Kuroo grabbed Kenma.

"_______ sure is nice." Kenma said.

Nothing.

He sighed. "A girl like _______ would never talk to me. Only someone cool and talkative like you." Kenma said.

He was moving now.

Kenma motioned to Tsukishima.

"Wow, I can't believe you got a date with _______." Tsukishima chimed in.

He was heading towards the door.

"She's so out of your league" Tsukishima said.

The others glared at him.

"Sorry, I couldn't help it." Tskukishima smirked.

"If you're not going to help, then get out of my house!" Kuroo said.

"Fine, fine." Tsukishima said and then actually left.

"Can I leave, too?" Kenma asked.

Before waiting for an answer, Kenma grabbed his things and left.

"Listen, Bokuto, it's just your close friends now." Kuroo said.

They heard him move away.

"You should be happy. You really like _______-san and worked hard to get a date with her." Akaashi said.

"She's only going on a date with me because you told her to. You probably told her that you would split the money from the bet!" Bokuto shouted.

"If we split the money, then we wouldn't have any." Kuroo said.

"And we were planning on giving the money to you for your date." Akaashi said.

Bokuto slightly opened the door.

"Really?" he asked, peeping through the crack.

"Yup. We're just that nice." Kuroo said.

"What did you say to _______-chan?" Bokuto asked.

"Can't tell." Kuroo said.

Bokuto shut the door.

"I asked her why she rejected me. She said it was because she likes someone else very close to me. So close to me that if we dated, it wouldn't be okay for the two of you to date." Kuroo admitted.

"Kenma?" Bokuto asked, knowing the answer.

"No."

"Tsukki?"

"As if anyone would like him."

"Me?" Bokuto asked.

"You." Kuroo said.

"Hey, hey, hey! I really am the best after all!" Bokuto shouted.

"You should get ready for your date and pick out where you want to eat." Akaashi said.

"Why would I do that?" Bokuto asked.

"Remember you were so eager that you asked her if she could meet you tonight?" Kuroo asked.

"WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR? IS MY HAIR OKAY? WHERE SHOULD WE EAT?" Bokuto panicked.

"Just relax. You look fine the way you are. There's a nice ramen shop down the street. You can go there." Akaashi suggested.

"You're right. _______-chan looks so cute when she eats ramen!" Bokuto said.

"Here's the money, you gotta go now! Don't wanna be late!" Kuroo said.

"But what if she doesn't like me after this date?" Bokuto asked.

The two friends froze. They didn't know what to say. After spending long periods of time with him, they tried to figure out why they still hung out with him.

"That won't happen because you're a total bro." Kuroo assured.

"And girls like sensitive guys." Akaashi added on.

"I'M NOT SENSITIVE! I HATE YOU AKAASHI!" and with that, Bokuto ran out the door.

Extended Ending:

"I forgot my phone." Bokuto said, reentering.

He opened up his phone and realized that he received a text form you.

New message:

"I can't wait for our date tonight ^.^~! Let's go to that ramen place we went to! Ramen is the best ^0^"

Next message:

"Besides you ^.^"

For the first time ever, Bokuto was quiet.

"Have your feelings grown?" Kuroo teased.

"ARE YOU SAYING I'M SENSITIVE? SCREW YOU, KUROO!" Bokuto shouted and ran out the door again.

This time, he had his phone in his hand. And this time, he was wearing the biggest grin.
