AttractionTsukishima x Reader
"Tell me Tadashi... why is Tsukki so mean to me?" you asked, putting your books away in your locker.
"Eh? He's just like that with everyone!" Yamaguchi replied.
"No, he's only like that with me, Kageyama, and Hinata." you retorted.
"I think he treats you a bit differently than he treats them." he said.
"You're right. He's way meaner to me." you said, slamming your locker door.
Yamaguchi started to panic.
"The two of you are actually close, though!" he tried.
"The only reason the two of us seem close is because he always hits me on the head and calls me Baka every time he sees me." you said.
"He touches your hair!" Yama-chan tried.
"I know! He messes it up all the time! I mean, I'm a girl, too." you complained as you walked down stairs.
"He calls you by your first name." he said.
"Yeah, _______-baka." you said.
"He has a special nickname for you, too!" he continued.
"_______-kun..." you mumbled.
"He walks to and from school with you every day!" Yamaguchi tried.
"He steps on the back of my heel the whole time!" you said, opening your shoe locker.
"He carries your bag." he said.
"He hits me in the head with it." you said.
"He eats lunch with you."
"He makes fun of my cooking."
"He buys you snacks."
"But always takes the first bite."
"He tutors you."
"By calling me stupid."
"He cares about you."
"I'm starting to feel like he doesn't." you sighed, slipping your shoes on.
"Yo, Tadashi. Baka." Tsukishima greeted before attempting to hit you on the head.
You dodged it.
"What's up?" Tsukishima asked, glaring at you.
"I was just about to leave." you said.
"Want me to walk you home?" Tsukishima asked.
"Not particularly." you answered.
"Why are you being extra stupid today?" he prodded.
"I don't know? Why are you extra mean to me every day?" you asked before walking away.
"What's her problem?" Tsukishima asked Yamaguchi.
"She thinks that you hate her... I tried to talk her out of thinking that, but I didn't know how to say it without-"
"I'm going after her." Kei said, running out the door.
"Oi, _______!" Tsukishima called.
"_______!" he tried again.
"Baka!" he called.
You stopped and turned around.
Tsukishima was about to say something mean when he realized your eyes were wet.
"You know, you shouldn't be so mean to girls." you said.
"_______-"
"Enough. I've had enough." you said.
For the first time in his life, Tsukishima didn't know what to say. You had always been just as sarcastic and cold to him, so seeing you like this would be like seeing him like this.
"I'm sorry for thinking that we were friends." you stated.
"But we are." he said.
"In what world?" you asked him.
He didn't know what to say.
"You're so mean to me! You hit me on the head and call me baka, you ruin my hair, you call me mean names, you step on my shoes and hit me with my own bag, you make fun of my food and then steal it, and you think that we're friends..." you trailed off.
Tsukishima waited for you to say something.
"... Are you a baka, Tsukki?" you asked.
"Tch." he scoffed.
"You're like a kindergardener in love!" you laughed.
"That's just how I show affection." he mumbled.
You laughed at how much of an idiot you were being earlier.
"Well you shouldn't be so mean to girls. Otherwise they might get the wrong idea." you said.
Tsukki hit you on the top of your head.
"I was trying to give you that idea. Baka." he mumbled.
You smiled and lightly punched him in the middle of his chest.
"Big baka." you said.
