In the middle of the desert, Jane Foster, Evelyn Ross, Darcy Lewis and Erik Selvig wait in a van, waiting for something to happen, Evelyn tells them,"Wait for it."

Darcy in the drivers seat, completely bored, "Can I turn on the radio?"
Jane tells her, "No!"
Erik tells to the both girls, "Jane, Evie, you both can't keep doing this."
Jane tells him, "The last seventeen occurrences had been predictable to this second!" She checks through her notebook.
Erik tells her, "Jane, you're an astrophysicist, not some storm chaser!"
Evelyn explains to him, "What she's telling you is that, there's a connection between these atmosphere disturbances and combining our research. Eric, We... I wouldn't ask you to fly out here if we weren't absolutely sure." She goes onto the roof of their vehicle to get a clearer look at the sky, "God!"
Erik says to her, "I thought you said it was a subtle aurora!"
Jane tells Darcy after she sees Evelyn return inside, "Go!"
Darcy suddenly starts the van and speeds towards the light in the sky as it comes down to the ground. Jane filming it with her video camera. All amazed on what their seeing.
As Darcy takes in on how close they are, she freaks out and was about to turn around from the light, "What are you doing?!" Evelyn yells at her.
Darcy yells back, "I'm not dying for a science experiment!" Evelyn grabs the wheel and turns back towards the storm. Lightning coming out of the sky with the light bridge, Darcy slams the breaks they turn to the side and they hit something and stops completely, they all run out of the van seeing what they hit, Darcy yells at Evelyn, "I think that was legally your fault!"
Jane yells at Darcy, "Get the first aid kit!"
They run and see that they hit a person and Evelyn kneels beside the body, "Do me a favor and don't be dead! Please!" She looks up at the sky, "Where did he come from?" Confused, shocked and a little overwhelmed on what just happened.
~ Night:Tonsberg, Norway 965A.D Day:Asgard
Small town in view, (Odin's voice), "Once mankind accepted a simple truth; that they were not alone in this universe. Some worlds man believed home to their Gods. Others they new to fear." An army comes to view with one, the leader/King named Laufey having a blue glowing looking Casket, called 'Casket of Ancient Winters' in hands, "From around the cold and darkness came the Frost Giants. Threatening to plunge the mortal world into a new ice age." The Frost Giants attack the humans, with the leader using the Casket freezing everything in their path. "But humanity would not face this threat alone." A rainbow lightning bridge lands on Jotunheim, it disappearing revealing Asgardians led by Odin arriving for battle. They attack each other fighting. "Our armies drove the Frost Giants back into the heart of their own world. The cost was great. In the end, their king fell." Laufey lays weakly on the ground as Odin points his staff at him, Odin himself injured-loss of his right eye-an Asgardian soldier walks up to the Casket taking it from it's stand. "And the source of their power was taken from them." The Asgardians leave the planet. "With the last great war ended, we withdrew from the other worlds and returned home at the realm eternal, Asgard." Showing the beautiful view of Asgard, "And here we remain as the beacon of hope. Shining out across the stars. And though we have fallen into man's myths and legends, it was Asgard and it's warriors that brought peace to the universe." Inside the castle, Odin with now his eye covered, young Thor, and young Loki are walking through the treasure vault, seeing the Casket. Stopping in front of it both youngsters amazed by it, Odin steps forward continues the story. "But the day will come when one of you will have to defend that peace." Turning to both of them.
Young Loki asks curiously, "Do the Frost Giants still live?"
Young Thor says to confidently, "When I'm king, I'll hunt the monsters down and slay them all! Just as you did, father." Smiling happily.
Odin tells them, looking between them, "A wise king, never seeks out war. But... he must always be ready for it." He walks forward pasting the two boys away and the boys look at each other happily and runs to catch up with him. Both unnoticed that they past the Mjölnir Hammer.
Young Thor tells him, "I'm ready, father." When they both reach him, both grabbing his hands, one each.
Young Loki says, "So am I!"
Odin tells them, "Only one of you can ascend to the throne. But both of you were born to be kings!"
