As she was reading intently, Eve gets startled and jumps at the knock on her door and quickly hides the book under her pillow. Stands quickly to answer the door seeing Thor with a very drunk Erik on his shoulder and she quickly asks, "Oh, my, god. Is he ok?"
Thor smiles at her concern, walks inside, telling her, "He's fine, not injured at all." He turns and accidentally hits Erik's head on the wall and he groans, Thor apologizing, "I'm sorry, my friend."
Evelyn confused and worried asks, "What happened?" As Thor stands in front of her with Erik still on his back.
Thor responds to her casually, "We drank, we fought, he made his ancestors proud."
Evelyn instructs him, "Put him on the bed." Points at the bed. Thor obeys and slowly puts him down with Evelyn helping a bit. Erik still awake looks at Evelyn and smiles drunkenly before plopping down on the bed, rolling to his side, laughing.
Thor laughs with him, not effected at all with the alcohol and pats him on the shoulder as Erik drunkenly says, "I still don't say you're the god of thunder but you ought to be." Laughing, Thor laughs with him and pats his back again. Evelyn behind them, looking worried and awkward. Thor goes to leave and stands in front of the open door and turns to Evelyn and looks around than to her and asks, "Are these your chambers?"
Evelyn smiles and says, "It's more of a temporarily living situation," Looks around to see her mess and quickly starts cleaning a bit, "Sorry, I don't usually have guests." Smiles nervously and awkwardly at him. She quickly asks him, "Can we go outside."
Thor smiles at her, "Yes, of course."
~ Roof:Research/Lab Building🔭
Both sitting around a small camp fire, Thor on her left, she says to him, "I come up here sometimes when I can't sleep, or when I'm trying to reconcile particle data or when either Jane or Darcy's driving me crazy. I come up here a lot actually, now that I think about it. I'm really glad you're safe." Looking at him.
Thor tells her sincerely, "You've been very kind to me. I... I have been far less grateful than you deserve."
Evelyn exclaims to him, "Well, I hit you with my car a couple times, so I think that kind of even things out." Both chuckling at that and they look at each other for a moment.
Thor tells her, "Perhaps I had it coming." He remembers and pulls out two notebooks from his coat and gives it to her.
She looks at him in shock, "Oh, my god." Takes both of them, "I don't believe this, Jane is going to be trilled to have this back."
Thor apologizes, "That was all I can get back, I'm sorry its not as much as I promised."
Evelyn quickly tells him, looking through her book, "No, no, this is great, this is..." Looks at him, "Now, Jane and I don't have to completely start by scratch now, even though they didn't get my laptop. Thank you." He nods at her and she looks at her notes again.
Thor looks at her expression, "What's wrong?"
Evelyn looks at him, "SHIELD, whatever they are, they're doing everything in their power to make sure this research never sees the light of day." Looks down sad.
Thor leans to her, telling her, "No, Eve. Listen to me, you must not give up. You must finish what you started."
Evelyn glances at him, trying not to cry, "Why?"
Thor continues, "Because you're right. Here, look?" He takes her notebook and opens it, to a page with the different planets drawn, "You're ancestors called it magic, and you call it science. Well, I come form a place where they're one and the same thing." Smiles at her and her smiles a small smile back.
Thor draws in her notebook, dividing the planets differently as she looks at him as he concentrates than looks at what he did, "What is that?"
Thor explains to her, "My father explained it to me like this, that your world is one of the nine realms of the cosmos. Linked to each other by the branches of Yggdrasil. The worlds tree. Now you see it everyday without realizing. The images glimpsed through uh... what did you call it?" Flips to another page with pictures of the night sky, "This... uh this hooble telescope."
Evelyn smiles softly and corrects him, "Hubble."
Thor repeats, "Hubble telescope." They both laugh as they look at each other.
Evelyn looks at him intently, "Tell me more."
Thor continues to explain, "So the nine realms. Now there is Midgard, which is Earth. There's Alfheimr, Vanaheimr, Jotunheim and Asgard. And that's were I come from."

Their seats now closer together, both in blankets. Thor looks at the night sky then looks down at Evelyn as she sleeps and turns to him and snuggles up to his side and he smiles and put the blankets higher for her to be warmer and wraps his arms comfortably around her, whispers, "Thank you, Eve." Going to sleep himself.
