Sue between Sif and Loki, playfully rolls her eyes and smiles a little at him and his antics to get a rise from the crowd and walks to the throne where his father Odin sits on his throne. He reaches the bottom stairs where Sif, Sue, Loki and the Queen -Frigga- stands on his left a few aways from him and to his right stand Volstagg, Fandral and Hogun as he kneels before the King and takes off his helmet. Looks up smiling cocky and looks at his mother and winks at her, in a small smile she's shakes her head a little at him.

Odin stands and Thor who's still smiling like an idiot looks to his right to see The Warriors Three who gives him a nod and he looks back at his father. Odin steps forward and clinks his staff to the ground and the crowd goes silent, he starts looking like he's about to cry, "Thor Odinson, my heir, my first born. So long entrusted with the mighty hammer, Mjöllnir, forged in the heart of a dying star. It's power has no equal! It's a weapon to destroy or as a tool to build. It is a fit companion for a king. I have defended Asgard, and the lives of the innocent across my realms in the time of the great beginning." Somewhere else shows the treasured vault with two guards on watch, not noticing a Frost Giant in the room freezes a pillar. Odin asks Thor, "Do you swear to guard the nine realms?"

Thor still kneeling, "I swear."

Odin asks, "And do you swear to preserve the peace?"

Thor says more bravely, "I swear."

Odin continues on, "Do you swear to cast aside your selfish ambition and to pledge yourself only to the good of the realms?"

Thor raises his voice and hand with the hammer, "I swear!"

Odin says, "And on this day, I Odin, All-Father, will proclaim you..." He stops when he senses something wrong. Inside the vault one of the guards sees the ice forming on the ground and a Frost Giant comes up behind and slits his throat/neck. Odin finds out what's happening now, "Frost Giants." Three Frost Giants runs up to the Casket and one of them takes the Casket of Ancient Winters. Odin still standing there, hits his spear against the floor which echoes across the floor and in the vault, a wall opens and the Destroyer comes out of it's room and takes out the Frost Giants, takes back the Casket, sets it back in it's original place, and enters it's room again.

Treasured Vault

Thor, Odin, and Loki have entered the vault seeing the damage the Frost Giants have done. Odin walking up to the Casket looking at it.

Thor states angrily, "The Jotuns must pay for what they've done!"

Odin simply tells him, not turning around, "They have paid. With their lives. To destroy it at its work, the Casket is safe and all is well."

Thor raises his voice, "All is well? They broke into the weapons vault! If the Frost Giants have stolen even one of these relics..."

Odin cuts in, "They didn't!"

Thor asks, "Well I want to know why?"

Odin states, "I have a truce with Laufey, King of the Jotuns."

Thor yells out, "He just broke your truce! They know you are vulnerable."

Odin turns to him and calmly asks, "What action would you take?"

Thor tells him, "March into Jotunheim as you once did. Teach them a lesson. Break their spirits so they'll never dare to cross our borders again."

Odin tells him, "You're thinking only as a warrior."

Thor clearly not understanding the problem in his argument, "Well, this was an act of war!"

Odin explains to him, "It was the act of but a few, doomed to fail."

Thor gestures around them, "Look at how far they got!"

Odin tells him, "We will find the breach in our defenses and it will be sealed."

Thor yells out, "As King of Asgard..."

Odin finally yells out stating, "But you're not King! Not yet." Walks away.

Thor breathing silently heavily in anger at his father for not doing anything. Loki staying silent the whole time, looking between both as they argued.
