Volstagg sitting down with Sue beside him on the arm of the one seater with his injured right arm on her lap about to treat his wound with a special paste, "We should have never let him go!" Mixing the paste in a bowl.

Sif telling the obvious, "There was no stopping him."

Sue tells them, "At least he's been banished, not dead." Worried about Thor.

Frandral exclaims, "Which is what we'd all be if that guard hadn't told them where we'd gone."

Volstagg winces a bit as Sue starts applying the paste on his arm, asks, "How did the guard even know?"

Loki still staring off with his back towards them, "I told him."

Sue stops and turns to him with wide eyes, "What?" All look at Loki in shock.

Loki turns to them, "I told him to go to Odin after we'd left. He should be flogged for taking so long. We should have never reached Jotunheim."

Volstagg raises his voice, "You told the guard?!" Sue turns back to continue putting the paste on.

Loki says in defence, "I saved our lives. And Thor's. I had no idea father would banish him for what he did."

Sue finishes putting the bowl down and wipes her hands on a cloth putting it with the bowl then stands turns to Loki, "Loki, you must go to the All-Father and convince him to change his mind." Walking to him and stands a few feet from him.

Loki looks at her, stepping to her so their standing directly in front of each other, "And if I do, then what? I love Thor more dearly than any of you, but you know what he is. He's arrogant, he's reckless, he's dangerous. You saw how he was today. Is that what Asgard needs from it's King?" Looks at all of them than Sue for a few more seconds than he walks off, leaving the room with Sue standing there not knowing what to say or do.

Sif still on the couch says referring to Loki, "He may speak for the good of Asgard, but he's always been jealous of Thor."

Volstagg tells them, "We should be grateful to him. He saved our lives."

Hogun looking down thinking out loud, "Laufey said there were traitors in the house of Odin. A master of magic could bring three Jotuns into Asgard." Looks at them.

Sue turns to him with wide eyes and claims, "Are you saying that he let them in?!"

Fandral now standing and tries saying to help calm Sue's nerves down, "Loki has always been one for mischief, but you're talking about something else entirely."

Loki still effected with what happened when the Frost Giant touched him, wanting to understand, he walks up to the Casket breathing heavily, grabs the side handles and picks it up from the stand where it's resting, tears in his eyes not wanting to believe what he's thinking is true. He stops when he hears a voice behind him.

Behind Loki on the stairs is Odin looking at him, "STOP!" His voice echoing in the silent room.

Loki stays where he is and asks, "Am I cursed?"

Odin answers, "No."

Loki carefully puts the Casket back down on the stand and asks with his back still facing Odin, "What am I?"

Odin clearly doesn't want this conversation to happen now but Loki is going to learn the truth anyhow, "You're my son."

Loki turns showing his true self as a Frost Giant with the blue skin and red eyes, "What more than that?" He skin fading back to normal along with the eyes and he walks towards Odin, "The Casket wasn't the only thing you took from Jotunheim that day, was it?"

Odin looks pained about this and looks at Loki as he stops at the bottom of the stairs not far from him and answers, "No. In the aftermath of the battle, I went into the temple, and I found a baby."

Loki with tears in his eyes looking down as he learns the truth, "Laufey's son?"

Odin faintly nods barely noticeable, "Yes."

Loki now starting to breath heavily asks, "Why? You were knee deep in Jotun blood. Why would you take me?"

Odin tells him, "You were an innocent child."

Loki now angry, knowing there's more, "No! You took me for a purpose. What was it?" Odin does not respond, "Tell me?!" Shouts at him, his voice echoing in the room.

Odin explains, "I thought we could unite our kingdoms one day. Bring about an alliance. Bring about permanent peace, through you."

Loki says lowly in disbelief, "What?"

Odin quickly explains, "But those plans no longer matter."

Loki exclaims with a tear down his face, "So, I'm no more than another stolen relic? Locked up, here, until you might have use of me!"

Odin asks, "Why do you twist my words?"

Loki continues to question him, "You could have told me what I was, from the beginning! Why didn't you?"

Odin tells him honestly, "You're my son. I wanted only to protect you from the truth."

Loki pained asks, "What? Because I-I-I-I'm the monster that parents tell their children about at night?"

Odin looks down, "No! No!" Mumbles the last no.

Loki exclaims angrily, "It all makes sense now. Why you favored Thor, all these years!" Odin sits weakly on the steps as Loki continues to shout and steps forward standing beside him looking down at him, "Because no matter how much you claim to love me, you could never have a Frost Giant sitting on your throne of Asgard!" Odin reaches out to him as he slowly falls down on the steps, Loki stops shouting and kneels down and slowly touches Odin hand as Odin breathes weakly and Loki realizes Odin has fallen ill, let's go of his hand, yells out, "Guards! Guards, please help!" The doors open with two guards run in straight to the King as Loki stands back to give them room.
