Ava.

There had only been a handful of times that I wanted to wring my father's neck.

And now, now was one of those times.

I told him, before I left his forbidden house, that I was a stranger to this part of town, the new territory of which he had claimed possession of.

And, he had the nerves to send me amateurs.

They weren't trained, they were weak and didn't know what they were getting into by stepping up to me.

Now that I think about it, I'm quite glad that we didn't go in together because we were sure to be dead because of their lack of training and utter stupidity.

And now, now I had no one to back me up if something were to happen - all thanks to my beast of a father.

I moved silently within the shadows of the dark night.

My surrounding was clear, only a few cars parked in what looks to be a makeshift garage.

Toying with my pocketknife, I made my way around the building.

I found roughly six exits and noticed that the roof was a dead end. The windows were shattered with specks of glasses left sticking to the edges. A dead giveaway that this part of town is dangerous.
