"I can't believe Sensei won't tell us what the lesson is!"

"We're supposed to figure it for ourselves, Naruto. You can't expect to become Hokage if you can't learn few things on your own."

"Oh, can it (y/n)!"

Naruto and I were jumping from tree to tree while Sasuke snuck off somewhere on his own. Our assignment from Kakashi was to retrieve a bell from his belt, but there are only two.

That means that one of us is going to go back to the academy..

~QUICK AUTHORS NOTE: AS I AM WRITING THIS, ONE OF THE NARUTO INTROS IS PLAYING ON MY PANDORA AND I'M DYING HELP (it's literally playing Go!!! by Flow. They have so many songs featured in anime it's crazy!) OKAY BACK TO THE STORY:~

I really don't want to go back to the academy. I have to get one of those bells, even if it means tricking Sasuke or Naruto to get it.

So here's my plan. I'm going to trick Naruto into distracting Sensei. While he's doing that, I'll flank him with a shadow clone and make an attempt at the bells. Hopefully at that point, Kakashi will have already dispatched shadow clones and he'll send them out to get me. When that happens, I'll use my own shadow clone who's trying to get the bell, and they'll take care of Kakashi's clones. Then, in all that madness, the real me can slip in and get a bell.

I looked over the plan for flaws, and it seemed foolproof to me. I still have to be prepared for anything, though. Sasuke is really sneaky and Kakashi always has a backup plan. I guess I'll have to come up with my own backup plan...

I make my move with the first plan, telling Naruto that Sensei is wide open and now is the time to attack. He tries (not so stealthily) to sneak up on Sensei. Jumping from the tree and landing right behind Sensei, Naruto reaches around for one of the bells. Instead of the shinobi blocking him, he freezes up where he stands.

"Wha?! Hey, Sensei! That doesn't feel like a bell! What are you trying to pull here?"

And that's when Naruto freezes up as well. I can sense from here that he's tensed up and petrified. So is Kakashi. Naruto immediately loses it and goes red-faced. He finally comprehends.

"WHAT THE HELL, SENSEI, YOU PERV!"

Kakashi slowly turns around with horror written all over his face.

"No, Naruto, it's not like that! Y-you grabbed me!" suddenly Sasuke comes flying towards Kakashi with a punch hard enough to send him flying. Kakashi stumbles to the ground and Sasuke... Well, he looks... Pissed? That's weird.

I decide that this is my chance to get a bell and I drop down from the trees like a cat, my (h/c) hair flowing behind me. I silently approach Kakashi while he's still collecting himself, and as I'm leaning to grab a bell, he thrusts his hand up, grabbing outwards.

"I've got you Naru- wait, that's not... Naruto..."

I immediately snap off as he squeezes his hand on my breast, no doubt trying to figure out what he's holding without looking. "You're damn right that's not Naruto. You really are a pervert, Sensei!"

Naruto pipes in with "That's exactly what I was saying, (y/n)!"

"No, no, (y/n), I didn't mean to - well I didn't know you were - but I'm still really sorry because, well, I guess - I mean, it's not like tha --"

During his rambling, I slipped my hand down to his belt. When he was finally able to form a coherent sentence, I turned and walked away, feigning a dramatic sob.

"K-kakashi Sensei... You touched me! I feel so violated!" I doubled over, faking eccentric cries with my back facing the team. Naruto attempted to console me, reaching out and patting my back. He was doing a poor job, but hey, he tried. As he was patting my back, I let out a little giggle.

"(y/n)? What's wrong?"

I kept giggling louder and louder and then it became a laugh. I couldn't hold it in anymore. Then I started cackling.

"A-ha, ahahaha, ahahahahaha!" I slowly turned and faced my Sensei, dangling both bells between my forefinger and thumb. I shook them a bit, taunting him. He had a look of shock upon his face that was too much for me to handle.

Kakashi's eyes darted down to his belt, where the bells used to be, and he is promptly surprised to find that they are not there. His eyes flash back up to the three of us, and he is still surprised. When he manages to compose himself, he puts his hands on his hips and sighs.

"Well," he says, "You've done an amazing job, (y/n), Sasuke. Naruto, not so much."

Naruto clears his throat. "That means we pass right?"

Sensei chuckles and then gets a serious look.

"No. You don't pass. In fact, you all failed, except for (y/n).

I could feel steam rising off of Sasuke, and Naruto's temper was definitely growing too.

"What do you mean we failed? We passed your test! (y/n) got the bells from your belt," Naruto yelled.

"You failed because you completely missed the objective of the test. You might have gotten the bells before noon, but you also didn't see what the real objective behind the mission was."

Finally, Sasuke spoke.

"Real objective? You told us exactly what to do and we did it."

"Ah, but even thought I told you what to do, there were still things that you should have done on your own, like oh, maybe work together and be a team. In the ninja world, breaking the rules means you are scum. But you are even worse than scum if you abandon your friends. Regardless, you and Naruto have failed and now it's time for lunch."
