The next thing I see is sunlight coming through my bedroom window. I sit up and stretch, my body aches from all the recent training I've been doing.

Was it all a dream? I think.

My fingers find their way to my lips, running over them softly as if any trace would be left of my extremely vivid dream. The room is calm and quiet, but I can hear birds singing outside. I close my eyes and listen to them for a moment. The sounds of the morning engulf me as I take a deep breath and let my body relax. I contemplate going back to sleep for a moment before my body kicks back into gear and I check my bedside clock.

1:28 PM

"I can't believe I slept all day" I shriek as I leap out of bed.
In the midst of me searching for my clothes, a knock comes from my window and I nearly piss myself.

Sasuke slides through the window and into the room. He points at me.

"I like your pajamas. Are those dinosaurs?"

My eyes dart to my clothes, and sure enough I'm wearing my dinosaur boxers and an old t-shirt. Embarrassment floods me and I cover myself as if I was naked.

"You scared me! Why the hell are you even in my room anyway? You're not supposed to be in here."

He scans the room, investigating all the pictures and knicknacks on the walls and the shelves.

"Because we're hanging out today? Don't tell me you forgot."

"I didn't forget. But that doesn't mean you need to come in my bedroom unannounced, and without asking, to scare me as soon as I wake up!"

I'm not even that embarrassed about my clothes. I'm freaking out. I'm still confused on whether or not I was dreaming. Sasuke's not acting weird so far.

He turns to face me and looks into my eyes.

"I'm sorry for scaring you, (y/n). I just really wanted to check on you after that fall you took yesterday. You knocked your head pretty hard, I thought you might get a concussion. "

"I fell?"

"Yeah, you went to dive in and slipped, and hit your head on a rock on the way down. Of course then I had to jump in and save you, which was super inconvenient," he says with a smirk.

"Well I'm sorry for the inconvenience, wouldn't want you to have to save the life of your teammate," I mock.

"Anyway, could you at least get out of my room so I can put some clothes on?"

"Fine, fine. I'll be outside." He climbs out of the window and yells back.

"And hurry up, I'm hungry."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"(Y/n), it has been obvious since I laid eyes on you that I love you. The way you think and the way you carry yourself. The way you move. We're made for each other. Please, (y/n), will you be mine?"
I look at her in my arms still for just a moment. The genjutsu is working, but now I need to get her somewhere safe, and before he strikes again.
I get her up over my shoulders and head to the village as quickly and inconspicuously as possible. I am carrying a nearly unconscious girl, after all.
The trip is uneventful until out of the trees comes Naruto, tripping over his own feet and doing it as loud as humanly possible.
The dust settles and he hops to his feet, waving a finger at me.
"Sasuke!! What are you doing with (y/n)? Is she hurt?"
"No, Naruto. Go away."
"I don't think so! If she's not hurt then where are you taking her? ARE YOU KIDNAPPI-"
I punch him in the face and then grab him by the collar.
"Follow me."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Damn," I mutter to myself. I wonder if she's going to say something.

I run my hand through my hair and sigh. At least the sun is shining.

(Y/n) comes up beside me, dressed in her everyday wear. But oh, how she wears it. Don't get me wrong, (y/n) is a fine ninja, but she's got a fine body too.

She smiles. "So where are we going?"

"To eat, and then a movie."

We start walking to the ramen shop.

"This sounds like a date, Sasuke. Are things not working out with Naruto?"

I chuckle. "It's not that, (y/n)."

"There must be a girl you like, then," she teases.

"You caught me."

She stops dead in her tracks, a look of disbelief on her face. "Wait, you like girls, too?"

"Maybe just this one."

"So who is it? Is it Sakura?"

"She's annoying."

"She likes you."

"A lot of girls do. But that doesn't mean I like them."

"But you want a girlfriend," she scoffs. " Okay, so who would you pick? What's the criteria?"

"She has to be a bitch, but in a good way. I require a lot of attention so we would ideally spend a lot of time together. I want her to be kind of goofy. And hot."

"Could you be any pickier? I don't know anyone like that."

"I do."

"Great, then ask her out."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"I don't think she sees me like that."

"You won't know until you try, idiot."

We finally arrive and sit down. She takes her time ordering as usual, but as usual she gets the same thing. She's predictable.

We're waiting for our food when she breaks the silence.

"I wonder what Sensei's doing today."

Sensei... I seethe.
