"I've decided to sell my kidney."

He's face contorts with confusion, then he gives you a flat look, "Y/n..?"

"Ok fine that's not it."

"Are you okay?"

You note the concern in his voice.

"Yeah, of course. Uh..come in."

Your cousin is in the living room, so you lead him upstairs to your room.

"You bought a new plant?" He asked, holding it up.

"Yup, that's my spider plant."

"So, what's up?"

"The ceiling...."

He gives you the stink eye.

"Ok fine. Uh so I got some shit to tell you."

"Shit."

"Yes, good shit."

"I don't know it could be bad."

"And why bad?"

"You might not..agree with me."

"And why would I not agree with you."

"Because you agree with someone else."

"I probably agree with someone else you come up with dumb ideas." He jokes and you throw a pillow at him.

It hits him in the face.

"I'm not telling you anymore jerkface."

He throws the pillow at you chuckling and takes a seat on your bed.

"Come here y/n don't be a party pooper and tell me."

You sit down next to him, but then you choose to lie down instead.

"Don't freak out."

"The feminist in me tells me not to say that I'm a man."

"Does she tell you that you're a wussy too?"

"HEY!"

"Sorry I'm just really used to insulting you."

"Well go ahead and apologize."

"Ha."

"So, the thing I've been meaning to tell you is..."

"Not the time for dramatics pauses y/n."

You punch his arm.

He lies down too.

You note how close both of you are, especially when you turn to look at him and find that he is but a breath away.

"You know," you breathed, "you have beautiful eyes."

"Obviously I know," his cocky side only came out when you were around, but then he looked more series. No not series. It was like he was trying to guess your next words.

"Asshole."

"Only towards you I turn on my charm."

"Your charmed worked." you chose your words carefully.

"It started working when you defended me. Then our hike. Then, it worked."

"I like your stupid ass." you blurted.

"Oh shit wow I'll let you process that I need some oj." you scampered up and was ready to leave but he tugged at your hand, grinning.

"Don't worry I have good shit too."

"I also like your stupid face."
