It was midnight. Tord could not sleep, not while Edd could die. He kept praying that he would live.

Edd was still in the dark room. It was now a darker gray. He felt nothing any more. The room got darker as he thought, "Am i dead?"
Suddenly, the room grew brighter.

Tord was standing near Edd's bed. I wish he would wake up. I need him...
Edd's eyes slowly fluttered open. Tord immediately started sobbing and hugged Edd. He did the same thing.
Edd was shocked by the wave of emotion he felt. After a day of having felt nothing... he felt overwhelmed.
"EDD! Y-YOUR OK! NEVER EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!" Tord sobbed cheerfully.
Edd sobbed like he never had before. "TORD! PLEASE! STAY WITH ME! DON'T EVER LEAVE ME! I-It was h-horrif-fying to b-be by me self l-ike th-that..."
